Small Group Tour of Sicily: Highlights (Maximum 8 Guests)
This was a great experience. Four Australians and four from the USA. The hotels were top notch, the tour guides knowledgeable, the communication was very well done. There was one glitch related to transporting luggage from one hotel to another, which was immediately fixed. Wine tours, included meals and of course Sicily. All eight of us enjoyed this tour immensely, and my wife and I will definitely travel via Tour Radar again. Would love to assemble the same group!

Small Group Sicily Food & Wine Tour (Maximum 8 Guests)
Well organized tour, very good accommodation, excelent quality of tasted food including the one on markets. Cooking class led by excellent chef cook with sense of humor. Professional guides, professional drivers. There is nothing to complain about. I'll certainly come back to Sicily. One comment: please leave more time to visit Noto.
Best of Sicily - 8 Days (Small Group Tour)
This was my first experience with a tour and this one was excellent. All planned events were interesting and tour guides were excellent. There was a good balance between planned activities and free time.
Italy Family Holiday
I took my 12 year old son on the Intrepid Family Adventure. We had an amazing time. The guide was helpful, considerate and lots of fun. Playing games with the kids in the pool and making sure everyone was comfortable and happy. The pace was fantastic for a family with the mornings full of exploring with the group and the afternoons reserved for free time for families to spend together. Our highlight was the sailing trip to Capri. Can't recommend highly enough

The Best of Italy
The tour was more that i expected went to places that was not pointed out on the itinerary. Only one dinner was not so great it was over cooked chicken and some of the breakfasts were like eating an instant meal. But our guide alessandro was far above excellent. I have a medical issue and every time i got off the bus he was always there to help me without being asked. This is only one of the many things he did that i noticed which are too many to mention. Also i was not the only one of the walking wounded that he attended to. He was so attentive to everyone,
Best of Italy (Classic, Summer, 11 Days)
I'd give 6 stars if I could ! It was a trip of a lifetime..we were so excited about the iconic sights we saw and had forgotten about other wonderful events and locations; as the tour around Capri; the inside Venice tour etc. The driving was excellent and the tour guide Elena was wonderful....we will cherish the memory forever !!

Sicilian Secrets
The trip was well organized. The guide - Placido certainly knew his subjects and was very happy to answer questions. The accomodation was all very good as were the breakfasts. .The group was large and I didn't realise that when I booked. Also you did need to be fit ( I am) but some people found the wakking/steps very difficult

Charming Sicily Food & Wine Small Group Tour - 8 days
Overall our tour was wonderful. We had a great time. Denise, especially was a very good guide, very knowledgable and personable. The cooking class and our Palermo Street Food tour was, probably my favorites. A few areas that could have been improved upon: - A little more communication prior to the tour would have been reassuring. In this day of fraud it is a little unnerving to send all that money into the internet and not get much of a response. - The final communication, our itinerary, was a definite problem. We were told by Tour Radar that we would receive it 10-14 days before we left. The tour operator (ClickTours/Mossimo) told us we would receive it 8 days before we left. I finally called Tour Radar 6 days before we left

Italian Tapestry
It's a challenge to see more than a small slice of Italy in eight days, but the Italian Tapestry tour offered by Globus does this very well. It hits most of the expected must-see places like Venice, Florence, Sienna, Pompeii, Rome and Sorrento, while mixing up small and large destinations, urban settings and agritourismo.
Italian Elegance (Classic, 12 Days)
Wonderful itinerary, we got to see all the very best of northern Italy! So much included, very informative we loved every minute of it.
What people love about Luxury Tours in Italy
The tour was wonderful. We had great guides, delicious food, and enjoyed the beauty of Sicily.
I can’t say enough good things about our experience in Sicily thanks to Mossimo and his team. Excellent, informative tour guides…Denise, Carlos, Antonio and Sem. The cooking class may have been the highlight, but all of the activities were fun and the pace of the tour, planned activities/free time mix was perfect. Will definitely recommend!
Very pleased with the tour. The guides were personable and well informed. The hotels very nice and the chosen restaurants and variety of offered foods exceeded expectations. Only complaint is that I wish tips had been included. There was a lot of confusion as to who should get tipped and what was the appropriate amount. All in all I feel that it was a great mix of seeing Sicily yet having free time to explore independently.

Custom Trip to Italy 2023
Dear Stefania, Our time in Italy was fascinating with your help. We had a great time and were able to enjoy all Italy had to offer with the easy navigation. We are truly spoiled with all the service we had from the tours and drivers you arranged. The chef in Tuscany was so inviting and took such good care of us... We had a great day learning so much, not just about cooking but about the area, the farming and the Italian lifestyle. The boys were just thrilled with the experience. Rome was fascinating with all the history and we absolutely loved the hotel and the rooftop patio. The tours in Rome were so helpful to teach us the history. The travel to Positano was easy as the driver had all the work to do while we enjoyed the views and became familiar with the area. We had great weather and enjoyed the beach, hiking and shopping while we explored the area. Thank you for planning such a great trip. We very much enjoyed our time in Italy and cannot wait to go back. Sincerely, Bob and Evelyn V. Columbus, OH
We've returned, Enrico, and before I get mired in several hundred emails in my inbox, I want to offer my compliments and thanks for what you arranged for us. Villa I Barronci was simply lovely -- such a peaceful, relaxing, comfortable place in a delightful setting. The Maalot was a magnificent place. We thought it was perfectly located as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. So thanks for your arrangements and assistance with our questions and preferences. All in all, we view this as having been a really wonderful vacation. Ray C. Arlington, VA
Custom Italy Honeymoon Trip
Stefania - George and I returned last night from our trip of a lifetime! I keep telling people that it felt like a dream. So with laundry and luggage on the floor, I wanted to stop and send you this message! That tells you just how much we enjoyed our trip. Every detail, every transfer, restaurant recommendation, etc. was spot on. We could not have asked for better insight or a better planned trip. The tours.... oh the tours... were fantasic. We learned so much and while we expected the guides to be nice, we were not prepared for just how thorough and nice they would be. Not to mention funny! We enjoyed them as much as we did the sights that they led us through. The hotels were amazing as well. The rooms were great, but their locations were exactly where we needed to be to have the trip we sought after. But I must say that when we stepped onto the property at Hotel Caruso, I felt like we had stepped into a postcard. The flowers and the views were breathtaking. We spent a lot of time just trying to take it all in. There are no words that I can type, and even with a minor dissertation I couldn't cover it all. I have uploaded over 700 pictures and came home 8 pounds heavier! And this morning I went to the Italian grocer/importer to get my fresh mozzarella. I can't even eat food the way I used to. You planned a trip and anniversary celebration that can never be topped. We thank you!! Susan & George M. Charlotte North Caroline

Travel to "Il Bel Paese"—The Beautiful Country
Experience Italy luxury travel with Ker & Downey. From the dramatic coastal cliffs to the sun-drenched Tuscan hills, Italy well-deserves its nickname, Il Bel Paese, “the beautiful country.” Whether you fancy a cozy getaway to ski the Alps and the Dolomites, or an unforgettable beach experiences, all of Italy’s diverse attractions are accessible via any of its largest cities, Rome, Milan, and Turin, and Naples. Classic cities like Venice and Florence have an appeal all their own, drawing visitors into the history and culture of Italy’s storied past.
Northern Italy Luxury Travel
Skiing is not the only reason to visit the northern reaches of the country. Glacial Lake Como draws high profile visitors throughout the year, and Milan is also within easy reach. Italy luxury travel allows you to shop the most glamours fashion designers in the world while there. In addition, the Dolomite Mountains remain an adventurer's playground, Piedmont delivers exceptional wine and truffles, and lovely Lake Garda offers quiet moments amid spectacular nature.
Florence & Tuscany
Meanwhile, Tuscany’s romantic wine regions and walled cities have inspired art, cuisine, and design trends around the world. However, nothing compares to looking over the vineyards at sunset, a glass of wine in hand. Florence is responsible for enchanting the hearts and minds of millions over the centuries, with more original works of Renaissance art than one can see in a single visit.
When it comes to Italy luxury travel, few destinations can compare to Rome in terms of historical significance and preservation. The epicenter of one of the worlds greatest empires is now a dense and thriving metropolis. Here cutting edge contemporary society shares space with the ruins and excavations of the birth of Western civilization.
Coastal Cities
With the majority of the country inhabiting a narrow peninsula, you’re never far from the water in Italy. From the idyllic canals of Venice to the picturesque terraces of the Amalfi coast, you’ll want to bring your boating shoes and sunglasses to experience the country by land and by sea.

Luxury Italy Vacations & Tours
Why should you travel to italy with us.
Italy fires your imagination; with the slick purr of an Alfa Romeo, and the staggered terraces of the Amalfi Coast. It’s a country that sells itself. So why go with us?
Details, details, details – that’s why. A sommelier-guided tour of Rome’s best enoteche (wine bars). A private table at Sarah Cicolini’s Appio-Latino restaurant. In Sicily, a luxury picnic amongst the 2,000-year-old ruins of the Valley of Temples, and in the wild North: a trek into the dramatic ‘pale hills’ of the Dolomites, searching for mountain air, natural wine, and a canopy of stars. This is ideal stuff for families, friends, lovers, and solo travelers. But wherever you decide to go, it’s our job to create a perfectly bespoke travel itinerary, and not simply to sell you what’s gone before. That would be far too easy. And very un-Italian.
Example Italy trips
Como, tuscany & amalfi: the ultimate italian honeymoon, rome, florence & puglia: a luxury family italy…, a luxury tuscany and amalfi coast holiday: la…, switzerland & italy: a luxury holiday in the…, lake garda, the dolomites & the prosecco hills:…, sicily: ancient wonders and coastal beauty, highlights of italy: a luxury holiday in venice,…, milan, como & bologna: a gourmet escape to…, emilia romagna & the langhe: a luxury hiking…, puglia: the perfect italian getaway, siena: experience il palio in style, piedmont: discover truffles in the italian countryside, the aeolians: island hop in style in italy, portofino: a luxury vacation to the italian riviera, eater journeys: rome & florence, the young pope: italy, create your own itinerary, what to see and do in italy.
If you can’t see it here we’ll still plan it for you.
Italy – the land of renowned renaissance masterpieces, rich gelato, rolling vineyards, and azure waters. Arguably the most infatuating country in Europe, there is something for everyone, from the gastronomic delights in Modena to the dazzling labyrinths of Venice , the striking ruins of Pompeii to the designer storefronts in Milan . Both romantic and family focused, your luxury Italian vacation awaits.
MORE ABOUT LUXURY VACATIONS IN ITALY
Thanks to the dazzling ceiling frescos at the Vatican and the gaping hole in the Pantheon, Rome doesn’t limit its wonders to eye-level. Be it tossing a coin into the Trevi Fountain or standing small underneath the impressive Colosseum, Rome is a fascinating place that has you peering upwards in wonder. Here you’ll explore tales of emperors, gladiators, wealth, and war with our family-friendly adventure.
UNCOVER THE ANCIENT STORIES OF ROME
Italy is diverse – from the snow-capped peaks of the Alps to the urban subwaypolis of Milan – there’s no shortage of landscapes to get lost in on your luxury escape. Experience some of the best wine in the world with our private Tuscany tours , or set up shop on the island of Capri, where turquoise waters lap onto sun-soaked beaches. The choice is yours.
GRAPES AND GROTTOS ON HIDDEN PEAKS
While Italy doesn’t scream Winter Wonderland, we think it should. Cozy and homey, it’s not just for the skiers – think wellness spas, hot tubs with unbeatable vistas, sauna sessions and Turkish baths for your luxury vacation this time. Nights can be filled with horse-drawn carriage rides to charming villages, cluttered with Christmas markets and illuminated castles. It may not be your average Italian vacation, but it will be one that delivers everlasting memories.
A WINTER ESCAPE INTO THE MESMERISING DOLOMITES
If Italy was an art gallery then Tuscany, both rural and urban, would be its masterpiece. Learn the little-known stories hidden in the Renaissance architecture of Florence on a private guided tour. Take a private hot air balloon ride over Val d’Orcia’s calm and colorful hills en route to wine tasting at the region’s best-in-class vineyards before joining a truffle hunt with some locals.
Rolling hills of Tuscany
Romance runs through the city that provided the setting for Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Around the corner from every busy photo op are quaint streets and piazzas peppered with alluring architecture and fine dining. Private table at the much-loved Bottega del Vino? Space is limited and we make no guarantees about how much room you’ll have for dessert after you’ve mopped up the exquisite Baccalà con Polenta and Risotto con Vino Amarone.
Romantic Verona
The home of Italian futurism and the motor car, Milan is an evolving city steeped in history. Why not experience its best contradictions? Indoors, you can get lost in an endless supply of 20th-century art, treat your taste buds with the aroma and soft taste of infused risotto alla Milanese, or stroll the Quadrilatero d’Oro for retail therapy via the world’s most exclusive brands, such as Salvatore Ferragamo and Bottega Veneta.
Fashionable Milan
We don’t limit you to bricks and mortar hotels. Luxury Blink camping lets you spend a night anywhere. Explore breathtaking Tuscan hilltops, escape to alpine serenity at Lake Lugano, or head into the untouched wilderness along the Amalfi Coast. Whether you’re planning a remote retreat or simply getting away from city life for a night of bliss, Blink allows you to experience a different side to Italy and feel true tranquility.
Blink luxury camping
Soak up the history of the Sistine Chapel and stroll around the Raphael Rooms at your leisure, enjoying the papal city in complete privacy. The iconic St. Peter’s Basilica presents the finest hour of Renaissance architecture and is also the ideal spot to appreciate panoramic views of the Vatican gardens.
Visit as part of ‘The Young Pope’ guided tour (inspired by the landmark 2016 series) and spend eight nights in the lap of luxury, with your very own private jet, prestige hotels, unique dining experiences, and more.
Enjoy exclusive access to the Vatican
Take to the air with a unique helicopter tour over Lake Como and enjoy the neoclassical architecture set against the hypnotic waters from above. Survey the striking green hills and take in the dramatic scenery with the wind running through your hair. When you’re ready to take a break, stop off for a bite to eat at the breathtaking Isola Bella island, privately catered for with fresh-caught pesce persico ready to satisfy your taste buds.
This is just one of our many exciting experiences on Lake Como.
Explore Lake Como from a private helicopter
With a private Jeep tour taking you through the winding slopes, explore the ever-changing lunar-esque environment of the explosive Mount Etna. From bubbling lava to the smoking cap, feel the heat of the active volcano like nothing else, with exclusive views of the wondrous Sicilian landscape, this is like nowhere else in Italy and our all-inclusive trip is one to remember.
Get close and personal with Europe’s highest volcano

Welcome to the ‘eternal city’ – sacked, burnt to the ground, and rising resplendent.
The Vatican City, the Spanish Steps, the Colosseum and the modernist abandon of the EUR district. Our trips to Rome do justice to its curious and ancient history; with cucina povera and enotecas (rustic cooking and on-trend wine bars, in effect).
The Dolomites
The so-called pale mountains are the home of thrilling climbs and slow food.
Steep, rugged, beautiful, otherworldly. This is a very different Italy to Sicily and the Amalfi coast. Some come for its slow food, others for its ski resorts and local obsession with via ferrata (pre-roped, semi-climbing routes). For hikers, the remote villages and stunningly clear air are reason enough.
This is where the Italians go to relax.
Limestone clifftop towns and patient Adriatic waters. Puglia is the calm ‘breadbasket’ of Italy – providing much of the country’s olive oil and wheat. The food is roughly beautiful and amazingly fresh. Towns like Ostuni and Matera are a honeycomb of labyrinths and mazes. At Borgo Egnazia, you’ll encounter one of the world’s most immersive hotels.
Casa Angelina, Amalfi Coast
Borgo Pignano, Tuscany
Hotel de Russie, A Rocco Forte Hotel, Rome

Located in Southern Europe, Italy received 64 million tourists in 2019, making is the fifth most visited country in the world (after France, Spain, the USA and China). Travelers mainly visit Italy for its rich culture, world-class cuisine, passionate people, trendy fashion, ancient monuments, and picturesque villages. Besides its art treasures, Italy also features magnificent landscapes, which include spectacular coastlines, Alpine lakes and breathtaking mountains. The country is also home to the greatest number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the world. BEST TIME TO VISIT – ITALY TRAVEL GUIDE
The best time to visit Italy are the months of May, June, and September. Compared to the peak summer months of July and August, these months offer more comfortable temperatures and there are fewer crowds (except around Easter). The country experiences four classic seasons per year, although there is a marked difference between the wetter, cooler North and the drier, warmer South. The rainiest months pretty much everywhere are usually October and November.
- Spring (April-June): temperatures start to warm up, although it’s still advisable to wear layers in case of colder spells. It’s a fantastic time to go to Italy for most travel interests and destinations. Spring makes up part of the shoulder season, lying just before the busy peak season.
- Summer (July & August): the heat can be grueling, particularly in the South. August is also when many Italians take their summer vacations, so big cities tend to be quiet (with discounted hotel prices), while beach and mountain resorts are jammed (with higher hotel prices).
- Fall (September – November): temperatures cool down gradually, although September is usually still very pleasant. Expect crisp fall leaves and some sunnier days, but plan for wet weather too. Fall carries many of the same benefits as spring, but with slightly less predictable weather.
- Winter : temperatures in the South remain mild in winter, while Northern Italy is normally wet and cold. Winter in the Italian Alps is fantastic though for skiing and snowboarding, but the ski resorts do get crowded so book early.
HOW TO GET THERE – ITALY TRAVEL GUIDE
Travelers wishing to visit Italy can use a bus, train, plane, or boat to get there. Most tourists arrive by plane though, often landing in Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, the country’s busiest airport. This is the preferred point of entry in Italy when you want to visit Rome, or tour the entire country. Click here for a continuously updated list of airlines that offer direct flights to Rome.
Although Rome is the main getaway for most visitors to Italy, it’s often easier and cheaper to fly directly to/from one of the country’s other airports . It can also save you a lot of time to book a multi-city ticket, hereby arriving in one airport and leaving from another (for example fly in via Milan in the north and fly out via Naples in the south). The following airports are of interest for most tourist itineraries:
- Milan Malpenza Airport (north) is the largest international airport in the Milan metropolitan area in northern Italy (and also the main getaway to the Italian Lakes). Click here for a continuously updated list of airlines that offer direct flights to Milan.
- Venice Marco Polo airport (north) is the international airport of Venice. It offers flights to many European metropolitan areas as well as some partly seasonal long-haul routes to the United States, Canada, South Korea and the Middle East. Click here for a continuously updated list of airlines that offer direct flights to Venice.
- Naples Airport (south) is the international airport serving Naples and the Southern Italian region of Campania (which is also home to the Amalfi Coast). Click here for a continuously updated list of airlines that offer direct flights to Naples.
- Catania Airport (Sicily), also known as Vincenzo Bellini Airport, is the main getaway to Sicily and the the sixth busiest in Italy. Click here for a continuously updated list of airlines that offer direct flights to Catania.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS – ITALY TRAVEL GUIDE
Requirements for entry into Italy differ from country to country, and are subject to change. Prior to departure, always check with your government and your nearest Italian embassy or consulate what documents you need for travel to Greece.
- Citizens of the European Union are required to present a valid ID for entry into Italy.
- Citizens of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, the United States, and almost all non-E.U. countries are required to have a valid passport valid for at least 90 days beyond the intended date of departure.
- For stays longer than 90 days, all non-E.U. citizens will need a visa.
Make sure you read my 10 tips to plan a worry-free trip .
GETTING AROUND – ITALY TRAVEL GUIDE
Once in Italy, you’ll have a good choice of affordable and efficient transport options:
- To best way to get around in Italy is by car . All major car rental agencies have offices in the main cities and airports. To rent a car in Italy, you must be at least 20 years old and have a valid driver’s license. Overall, renting a car in Italy is more expensive than using the public transport (see below), unless you are traveling with a larger group. When driving in Italy , especially in the busy cities, you really do need to keep your nerve about you as the Italian style of driving is chaotic. Tip: on most motorways or autostrade (singular: autostrada) there is a toll to pay — cash or by credit card — but superstrade an other major national roads are free.
- Italy’s railway system is good and inexpensive. Owned by the state, it’s called Ferrovie dello Stato (abbreviated FS), but trains are operated under the brand name “Trenitalia”. Most trains carry first and second class. First class seats often recline, there are fewer seats per car, and there is more space for luggage. On some Premier Trains, the price of a first class ticket includes a meal. Second class accommodations are less expensive, but not as spacious, as there are more seats per car. Seat reservation is now compulsory on faster trains ( i.e. Eurostar, EuroStarCity, and InterCity). On other, slower categories of trains (Regionale, Suburbano) it is not possible to reserve seats. To book your train ticket online, visit the Trenitalia website.
- If you are travelling around Italy by train, it is more than likely you will need to use a bus at some point. Nearly all places are connected by some kind of bus service, but in remote towns and villages schedules can be sketchy and are reduced, or even non-existent, at weekends. Bus terminals (autostazione) are often conveniently located next to the train station. In smaller towns and villages, most buses pull in at the central piazza.

We are at the Rome Airport on our way back to NY. We cannot thank you enough for all of your attention and assistance before and during our stay in Roma. The transfers to and from the airport were on time and the driver was so accommodating (he gave a tour and stopped at a location for perfect pictures on the way to our hotel). The Hotel was absolutely beautiful! Our suite was fantastic and the hotel staff were extremely attentive. Finally, our Scavi Tour was unbelievable - truly a once in a lifetime experience
Much gratitude for making this brief vacation such a success.

Every tour was great - high marks for the truffle tour...and the wineries were excellent - the villa was spectacular too..

All the arrangements with Italian Journeys were quite wonderful and made it far nicer than it could have possibly been had we done it any other way. We are so appreciative of the care that was so evidently taken to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. Our guides were so helpful and informed and made all the difference in our experience. The staff at our hotel in Positano were extremely gracious welcoming and helpful. I must however single out our driver Salvatore. He drove us everywhere up and down the Amalfi coast ( on those heart stopping cliff hugging roads!). I cannot imagine anyone being kinder, more considerate, or more helpful. There is no way we would have enjoyed ourselves half as much without his safely and comfortably seeing us to each destination. Thank you again for all your help and care on this, you did an excellent job for us and we truly appreciate all your efforts. We look forward to our next adventure.

Special thanks to the Italian Journeys Team to put an amazing itinerary. Thank you for everything.

We had a fantastic day! Our driver was so wonderful and insightful. GREAT asset! Also, I loved our guide Maria Elena. What a lovely, well informed and kind woman. I recommend both and of course will share with my office!
Again, thank you.
- Mari Marks Luxury Travel Advisor
It was a fabulous trip and we thank you for all of your assistance. The guides and excursions were all first rate. The boat excursions in Amalfi were also very fun. The captain had two young crewmen who explained things to us in English. We had a nice mix of sightseeing and swimming. We also had lunch at a really nice restaurant that you could only get to by boat. We ate there twice because we enjoyed it so much. Thanks again for all of your help. We look forward to our next trip.
- Antony Lembke

The trip was glorious...we had the very best of everything. The planning was superb. Thanks to you Dino. The Italian people, as I knew beforehand...were so very helpful, sooo friendly and pleasant!!!! and funny!
It truly was a trip of a lifetime. Thank so much Italian Journeys team for all your guidance and supervision concern and care!! We look forward to returning...I guess that is the best acknowledgment!

Ellen - Just quick note to say our trip was truly amazing. I get nervous before a trip that I might have set my expectations too high but for this trip Henry and I loved every bit of it. Each guide and driver was extraordinary. They each had their own unique qualities but each one was so fun to be with and to learn from. They all went to making for a great time. Although a fully packed itinerary we wouldn’t have wanted to miss a thing. As I told you earlier our hotels were amazing as well. Exactly what we wanted. Beautiful with great locations. Each hotel also upgraded our rooms. The Lake Garda hotel put us in a suite that was spacious and lovely. The hotel in Rome put us in the top floor with a terrace. Wow!! Thank you again for everything. Hope to be back to you soon with a new trip to plan.Gracie Mille

Where to go
This is the island that charmed both Roman Emperors Augustus and Tiberius, America’s Hollywood darlings and this century’s international jet set.
Emilia Romagna
Home to pretty coastal towns, elegant cities and is considered by many to be the country’s foodie capital.
Surrounded by rolling Tuscan hills, the beautiful city of Florence is one of Europe’s most enchanting and historically influential cities.
Picturesque towns and grand villas are scattered around the lake and exploring them is easy thanks to the ferry service.
Matera is the jewel in Basilicata’s crown, a jumble of houses and churches perched on a plateau with deep canyons either side.
Milan is Italy’s financial and industrial heart, a thoroughly modern European city with a great history not far under the surface.
Nestled in the north west of the country and fringed by the French and Swiss Alps, Piedmont is one of Italy‘s most naturally beautiful regions.
Portofino and Cinque Terre
Portofino, perched on its own peninsular, is Liguria’s glamorous heart and one of the most perfect fishing ports in the Mediterranean.
Puglia feels very different to the rest of the country and is the perfect place for those looking to get off the beaten track.
Unmatched heritage blends across the ages to make a stroll through Rome endlessly surprising.
Sardinia has its own unique identity, and its inhabitants are fiercely proud of their island which is as intriguing as it is beautiful.
Sicily has long been a melting pot of Mediterranean culture, a ruggedly beautiful island surrounded by sparkling seas.
Draped along the cliffs on the southern side of the Sorrento Peninsula, between Salerno and the city of Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast is dramatic and glamorous.
Soaring peaks, tooth-like crags and lush verdant slopes, the Dolomites are some of Italy’s most dramatic scenery.
Tuscany has long drawn enamoured visitors, each after culture, wine, fine food and tangible history.
An extraordinary architectural masterpiece in which even the smallest building may contain works by some of Europe's greatest artists.
In the historical centre, modestly grand piazzas and a maze of streets are dotted with quietly humming cafes, artisan shops and high couture boutiques.

Paul coordinated an incredible, once in a lifetime Italian travel experience for us - hotels, cooking classes, dinners, wine tastings, winery visits (during the harvest!), and truffle hunting - all 5 star ++, truly authentic and with warm personal, professional service. We couldn't have asked for anything more, especially after missing Italy for 2 years.
We travelled to Italy from the 15th of September to the 2nd of October 2021. Even prior to departure, Paul was on top of every detail. When we arrived in Milan and at every step along the way, the service, attention to detail and response of Paul and his partner Andrea and the staff at every luxury hotel, restaurant and excursion was amazing.
Top client service and amazing high end itineraries Planning our vacation with Luxo Italia was one of the best decisions for our trip to Italy. Paul put together an itinerary that fulfilled all of our expectations and beyond.
My husband and I were in Italy for 2 weeks. The first we spent visiting our daughter in Milan . We asked Paul & Andrea to plan our 2nd week for us. We wanted an authentic Italian experience with great food, wine, culture and making new friends. We did not want a typical tourist itinerary.
What a high class experience in Venice created by Andrea. Such warm welcome and hospitality, smart restaurants choices and those phenomenal private events!
Wow doesn't even begin to describe their experiences. They had the highest quality adventures with impeccable attention to detail. Luxo worked diligently with us to customize a beautifully authentic tour of classic sights and unforgettable eating.
I just wanted to share my experience with my friends and family, to show them what is it - to be an Italian. And then I found the Luxo wine club.

Six fabulous things to do in Italy during the off-season
From thermal baths to Christmas markets, Italy’s off-season offerings are sure to inspire newfound appreciation for the country
Italy’s summer season usually sees a peak in tourism for the country, but embrace the shoulder and winter seasons instead and you’ll be rewarded with authentic Italian experiences without the crowds . Here are some of the most unique activities that can be experienced during a getaway in off-season Italy .
Food festivals or sagra
A trip to Italy often involves an array of gastronomical delights but the autumn and winter months provide access to the country’s diversity of local produce and flavours. Sagra, or food festivals, typically take place from October.
One of those festivals, the Eurochocolate Festival of Perugia, is held for one week at the end of October. Chocoholics visiting Umbria’s capital during this time can expect the air to be filled with the scent of cocoa while seller stalls line the streets. Guests wandering Perugia’s streets may come across handmade truffles, liquors, sauces and spreads available for purchase.
In Emilia Romagna, several food festivals take place during the autumn. These include Bologna’s Mortadella Bo sagra, the sagra del marrone or chestnut festival, the Tartofla truffle sagra and the Tortellino sagra.
November is prime time for truffle lovers to visit San Miniato in Tuscany where its renowned truffle festival is held annually. Featured delicacies include olive oils, breads, cheeses and sausages, with the local truffle hailed as the prize treat.
Winter Hikes
A unique look into Italy’s countryside and coastline can be found along several hiking routes during the off-season. Hiking in Liguria is like a step back in time as five colourful fishing villages can be reached by foot on the cliffside trails between Monterosso, Vernazza and Corniglia. The route offers views high above the villages with glimpses of the Mediterranean Sea while weaving through olive terraces, vineyards and citrus groves.
The famous Amalfi coast’s off-season vibe is more calm and serene than in the summer months. Ascending the steep pathway that rises from the village of Camogli and passes through San Rocco di Camogli, is a hiking path that offers panoramic views over Golfo Paradiso, or Paradise Gulf. The walk takes hikers through hamlets and woodlands along the exposed clifftops. Weather permitting, a dip into the sea at San Fruttuoso can provide a refreshing break before journeying onwards through hills and olive groves to Portofino.
Thermal baths
Italy’s thermal springs are at their best during the off-season. The escape from the cooler air gives opportunity for visitors to relax and rejuvenate. These steaming outdoor pools can be found throughout the country.
At Saturnia thermal baths in Tuscany guests can immerse themselves in the natural pools of the Mulino waterfalls. Views from the Sirmione thermal baths in Lombardy frame Lake Garda. For a more a luxury experience, Bormio thermal baths host spa treatments, a turkish bath and a finnish sauna while the Merano thermal baths of South Tyrol look out onto mountains that are often snowcapped.
The Amalfi Coast
From its natural landscapes with cove beaches to its charming coastal villages, the Amalfi Coast attracts many visitors during the summer months. During the off-season, travellers here can enjoy walks in the hills and villages, mingle with locals in the less busy cafes and restaurants and see buildings decked out in holiday lights. Less busy roads, more affordable accommodation rates and increased availability at popular dining locales are just a few of the perks of visiting the Amalfi Coast in the off-season.
The autumnal Tuscan countryside treats vacationers with access to freshly harvested vineyards and cyprus tree lined streets. Tuscany is known for its sunny days and cool nights in the autumn, which enhances activities such as golfing, cycling, road tripping or countryside picnics.
Bolzano Christmas markets
Near the Austrian border in South Tyrol , the winter festivities of Bolzano provide a scenic winter escape nestled amongst the Italian Alps. Bolzano is reachable by Italy’s trains from cities including Venice, Verona, Bologna and Florence. Visiting a Christmas market at night might enhance the liveliness of the square, where warm foods and drinks offer reprieve from colder temperatures, the glow of festive lights fills the air and crafts and decorations are on display. Mulled wine and local seasonal favourites are staples at this market.

How to Book Italy's Orient Express La Dolce Vita Train
F or more than a century, the Orient Express has captured travelers' imaginations as a grand European hotel on rails, shuttling high society from Paris to Istanbul since 1883. The luxury train became the stuff of legend (as the "spies' express" ) and pop culture, be it in Bram Stoker's Dracula or Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express , while setting the standard for elevated transcontinental travel.
Sadly, the luxury of slow travel couldn't compete with high-speed rail and budget flights, reports The Guardian , prompting the final run of the original Orient Express line in 2009.
That is, until more recently. In the past several years, the legendary locomotive experience has witnessed a rebirth thanks to luxury hospitality brands that are breathing new life into the iconic rail journeys-including the forthcoming La Dolce Vita Orient Express in Italy, a joint venture of French hotel firm Accor and real-estate investment company Arsenale, together with Italy's Trenitalia Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane and Treni Turistici Italiani .
Starting in spring 2025, La Dolce Vita Orient Express will bring passengers to regions throughout Italy on itineraries that run between two and three days. There are nine itineraries to choose from (depending on the time of the year):
- Venice and Portofino
- Venice and Siena
- The Italian Trans-Siberian: Matera and Palena
- Rome to Montalcino
- Rome to Monferrato
- Southern Italy: Maratea and Palermo
- Palermo to Rome
- Sicily and the Mediterranean
Travelers can choose between 12 deluxe cabins and 18 suites, with prices starting at $3,800 per person for a deluxe cabin and at $5,100 per person for a suite.
As for the concept for the new La Dolce Vita Orient Express train, "The train pays tribute to the years of La Dolce Vita, a fantastic period of history, [and] to the artistic and cultural fervor of Italy in the 1960s," according to a press release. Dimorestudio dreamed up the midcentury-inspired design aboard the train's renovated carriages-think pops of terra-cotta paint, tongue-and-groove ceilings, and brass accents galore. Dining aboard La Dolce Vita trains will be a sophisticated affair as well: Travelers will enjoy exclusive recipes created by master Italian chefs who use local ingredients, while sipping award-winning Italian wine. There will, of course, also be a lounge and bar, as well as entertainment, "all boldly celebrating the art, design, and creativity of the 1960s and 1970s," the release stated.
Upon departure from Italy's Rome Ostiense station, La Dolce Vita passengers will have access to their own lounge and a "relaxing pre-boarding experience."
The trains will cross about 10,000 miles of railway lines, 4,400 of which are not electrified and are historic routes traversing less-frequented parts of the countryside. Passengers will get their share of landscape gazing (alpine mountains and sandy southern beaches) and of metropolitan centers like Venice and Rome. "We are thrilled to officially open the doors to a new era of travel with La Dolce Vita Orient Express. This endeavor embodies the essence of exquisite exploration, where sophistication meets adventure," Orient Express CEO Gilda Perez-Alvarado said in a press statement.
Not to be confused with the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express , which is currently owned by Belmond, part of LVMH, and runs from London to Venice, La Dolce Vita Orient Express is the latest incarnation of the original train line.
How to book La Dolce Vita Orient Express
Starting on April 2, 2024, travelers in the United States and Canada can call (833) 661-3080 to book their journey with La Dolce Vita Orient Express. And as of April 24, 2024, bookings will be available online on the La Dolce Vita website .

Milan Mastered: An Insider’s Guide to Italy’s Capital of Cool
With captivating contrasts of vintage grandeur and gritty glamour, Milan has a way of seducing visitors in every season.
Milan may be Italy's economic engine, but this city runs on an intoxicating fuel of spritz, style and sheer creativity . The undisputed capital of cool seamlessly blends centuries of heritage with a cutting-edge verve that makes it utterly inimitable. With captivating contrasts of vintage grandeur and gritty glamour, Milan has a way of seducing visitors in every season.
But come spring, when the entire town is engulfed in Salone del Mobile 's creative crescendo, Milan reaches rapturous new heights. The world's premier furniture fair transforms the city into an unparalleled design mecca; this year it takes place from April 16 to April 21. The main event takes over the sprawling Rho Fiera fairgrounds, while Fuorisalone turns Milan into a citywide gallery with brands, studios and more installing mind-bending displays in unexpected spaces. Recent years have seen visionary collaborations with talents like Formafantasma, Hélène Binet and even David Lynch .
For the ever forward-thinking Milan—a place of big ideas, major investment and rapid innovation busily sprouting new subway lines, cutting-edge hotels and infrastructure for the 2026 Winter Olympics—hosting Salone is simply second nature. After all, creative devotion courses through this city's veins year-round. The home of Prada, Campari and da Vinci’s The Last Supper knows a thing or two about splashy reinvention. And let's not forget about Milan Fashion Week, every February and September.
Once one of Italy's most underrated gems, Milan now draws visitors from all over Europe and around the world with its globally renowned fashion pedigree and artistic quarters brimming with bohemian bravura. Whether your religion is retail worship or the hallowed rites of aperitivo hour, this once-overlooked city has truly blossomed into La Capitale del Cool. Forget skipping Milan—you'll want to go the distance to soak up every last spritz of its stylish spirit.

- Corso Genova, 11, 20123 Milan, Italy
Looking for the hottest under-the-radar address in Milan? Then keep Vico Milano's fashionable digs to yourself. This seven-room jewel box, dreamed up by boutique hotel savant Neri Baccheschi Berti , seamlessly fuses global influences into an eclectic, art-filled haven. Every detail delights, from the Moroccan-tiled bathrooms and antique Greek marble to the rotating gallery installations. Cuddle up in the library or sip craft cocktails at the spiffy local artisan bar—just don't reveal this hidden gem's whereabouts. It's our little secret.
- Via Palestro, 24, 20121 Milan, Italy
Consider this your VIP pass to elegant Italian living, Cipriani-style. The hospitality heavyweights have created Milan's premier members-only urban palazzo, oozing cultivated luxe at every turn. The vibe marries serene pied-à-terre and grand residenza in just 15 sumptuous Michele Bonan -designed rooms that scream yacht club chic. Linger over bellinis and cicchetti at the polished wood-paneled bar before heading to the pampering spa. Don’t forget to pack a jacket for dinner, where you'll truly feel like Milanese aristocracy.
What to Do:
- Piazza di Santa Maria delle Grazie, 2, 20123 Milan, Italy (inside the refectory of the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie)
Step into the holy grail of Renaissance art—the refectory housing Leonardo da Vinci 's legendary Last Supper. This jaw-dropping 15th-century mural captures Jesus' dramatic betrayal revelation with innovative mastery. But don't linger too long; visits are capped at 15 minutes to preserve the delicate fresco. Book well in advance to secure your audience with this iconic masterpiece.
Once Milan's vital arteries for trade, today, these tamed 12th-century waterways (navigli) offer a delightful detour from the city's hustle. Meander along the Naviglio Grande and Pavese, the last remnants, and embrace the lively al fresco culture of cafes, restaurants and shops lining the banks. Come summertime, the whole district thrums with aperitivo fever.
Eclectic Brera oozes an irresistible bohemian vibe. This artistic enclave seduces with cobblestone charm, antique haunts, too-cool-for-school boutiques and galleries galore. Don't miss the works of art at the masterpiece-laden Pinacoteca di Brera (Brera Art Gallery) and the lush Botanical Garden hideaway. Fuel up at trattorias or buzzy bars—Brera's creative spirit is utterly contagious.
- Largo Isarco, 2, 20139 Milan, Italy
Forget traditional art museums—Fondazione Prada rewrites the rules. This former gin distillery now houses mind-bending contemporary art exhibitions curated by style maven Miuccia Prada herself. The avant-garde complex masterfully blends renovated buildings with starchitect Rem Koolhaas ' bold new additions, like the striking gold-tiled "Haunted House." Embracing the unconventional is a given here.
Where to Shop:
- Corso Como, 10, 20154 Milan, Italy
Where art, fashion, food and life itself converge into one dazzling mosaic—that's the manifesto of 10 Corso Como. Founder Carla Sozzani's living gallery/restaurant/boutique hotel blends cultural curiosities into a tantalizing immersive experience. Wander from covetable Italian designs to photography exhibits, then linger over aperitivo on the verdant courtyard patio. It's Milan's most marvelous micro-cosmos.
- Corso Magenta, 10, 20123 Milan, Italy
Hidden between Milanese historic buildings, Raw&Co is an ever-evolving concept store that resembles an eclectic apartment spread across multiple floors. Each room tells a different story through a thoughtfully curated melange of vintage, modern and handcrafted pieces from around the globe. With decor inspirations rotating seasonally, every visit to this house of treasures is more compelling than the last.
- Via Brera, 4, 20121 Milan, Italy
Step into Pettinaroli and be transported to a bygone era of Italian artisanship. This 1881 stationery-turned-printing house has mastered exquisite craftsmanship for over a century. Whether it's leather-bound albums, letterpress wedding invites or antique maps adorning the shelves, every piece exudes timeless elegance. Pettinaroli redefines what it means to put pen to paper.
- Viale Vincenzo Lancetti, 34, 20158 Milan, Italy
For interiors aficionados, Nilufar Depot is the ultimate objet d'art playground. Nina Yashar 's legendary design warehouse takes "more is more" to sublime heights. This three-story stunner channels La Scala's dramatic ambiance with vintage Italian furnishings dramatically staged across balconied walkways. Even window shopping feels like wandering through a curated design museum.
Where to Eat:
- Via Panfilo Castaldi, 26, 20124 Milan, Italy
Bread is the star at Signor Lievito, where model-turned-baker Natalia Nikitina works magic with a 120-year-old mother yeast. Before it even opened, carb connoisseurs were buzzing about the boulangerie's obscenely flavorful baguettes, bulkas and Apulian focaccias. Who knew bread could be this seductive?
- Via Savona, 10, 20144 Milan, Italy
Like being invited to an intimate dinner party at a well-traveled friend's home—that's the vibe at Langosteria Cucina. Designed by Dimorestudio, the cozy 40-seater eschews industrial kitchens for a plush, lived-in aesthetic blending ‘70s moodiness with Japanese restraint. Tuck into the day's freshest catch or try classic risotto while surrounded by collected treasures from the owners' global jaunts. Don't forget to end with an order of gelato.
- Largo Isarco, 2, 20139 Milan, Italy (inside Fondazione Prada)
Step through Wes Anderson 's whimsical time portal recreating 1950s and ’60s Milan at this ode to mid-century Italian cinema. Retro formica chairs, jukeboxes, pinball machines and terrazzo floors channel classic films like Rocco and His Brothers . The wallpaper's Galleria Vittorio Emanuele flourishes make you feel you've shrunk down to miniature—in the most delightfully Anderson-esque way.
- Via Evangelista Torricelli, 15, 20136 Milan, Italy
Milan's neo-trattoria trend finds a standout in canal-side charmer Nebbia. The seasonal menu spotlights elevated Lombardian comfort fare like duck liver brioche and octopus with pork cheek, best washed down with a natural wine from the tightly curated list. With its rich flavors, forward-thinking twists and unfussy vibe, it embodies the future of Italian dining.
Where to Drink:
- Piazza del Duomo, 20121 Milan, Italy
When Milan sheds its winter coat, it's time to party al fresco at the one and only Terrazza Aperol. This piazza-side aperitivo hotspot is the ultimate ostentatious orange homage to Italy's beloved pre-dinner tipple. Designer Antonio Piciulo captured the cocktail's effervescent essence with vibrant hues and an unbeatable duomo-facing terrace. Sunset spritzes pair perfectly with crunchy chips and mouthwatering cicchetti for the ultimate afternoon affair.
- Via Plinio, 39, 20129 Milan, Italy
Behind gilded doors, Maurizio Stocchetto’s Bar Basso's is like being transported back in time. This dimly-lit, mirror-lined cicchetteria is a bonafide mid-century nightlife time capsule where aperitivo culture was born—quite literally, as the Negroni Sbagliato was invented here by happy accident. Sip the frothy original from a vintage Venetian goblet alongside a cross-section of old-school Milanese; from fashionistas to neighborhood regulars, all roads lead to this hallowed haunt.
- Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, 20121 Milan, Italy
They don't come much more quintessentially Milanese than this 1915 Galleria bar, the birthplace of the iconic Campari. With its original mosaics, frescoes and soaring ceilings, Camparino epitomizes Italian aperitivo grandeur. It's the perfect elegant pit stop for locals and culture vultures fresh from the Teatro alla Scala opera house or an exhibition at the Palazzo.
- Via Lecco, 11, 20124 Milan, Italy
Old-world wine bar meets new European chic at Bar Nico, already crowned one of Milan's trendiest indirizzi. The Studio Sagoma-designed interiors subtly nod to the site's history as a tire shop and pasta factory, while championing their rigorously pared-back, environmentally-conscious aesthetic. Sink into sculptural seating savoring the thoughtfully curated natural wine list amidst an atmosphere that could be plucked from Paris, Madrid, New York or London—yet unmistakably maintains its Milanese soul.

The Best European Wellness Retreats For Some Much-Needed R&R
From Ibiza to Crete
Thankfully, as our need to escape has increased, the options out there have become more varied and specialised. Whether you’re longing for a digital detox, want to reignite your passion for yoga, or need to show your skin some love, there’s a wellness retreat for you.
Below, find the best European wellness retreats out there. From a spiritual escape in Athens, a luxury getaway to St. Tropez, to a tranquil stay in Lake Garda.
Athens: for those looking for a spiritual escape
Refocus on your life plan at Travelgems four night ‘Longevity Retreat’ in Cape Sounio, Greece. Renowned author and spiritual leader, Dr. Deepak Chopra will teach guests to empower themselves with the tools and knowledge to lead a life with purpose. Hosted at a boutique resort on the Athens Riveria, the Grecotel hotel sits in a nature reserve amid ancient ruins, a short drive from Athens. Its private beaches on the cusp of the Aegean Sea overlook the legendary Temple of Poseidon. There’s no better setting to recentre yourself.
Italy: for those looking for tranquility
Cape of Senses in Italy know that one night away isn’t enough. That’s why there’s a three-night minimum stay for their spa hideaway. Overlooking Lake Garda, the scenery takes centre stage with jaw-dropping views of the lake, mountains and blue skies - a constant reminder that your to-do lists can be forgotten about. And just incase you couldn’t quite shake the thought of your daily routine, a treatment at the spa will do the trick. Finish your days with a guided mediation on the yoga deck or a sunset dinner cruise. Cape of Senses will leave you feeling full of life - and very spoilt.
Ibiza: for those looking to immerse themselves in local culture
Gone are the days when Ibiza was just associated with its world-renowned party scene. Yes, that is still very much thriving, but there’s so much more to the island. If you head north you’ll get to experience the island’s healing energy, brought by the free spirits who settled here in the 1970s. And there’s no better place to soak it in than at the Six Senses. The luxury spa offers tailored treatments provided by global practitioners and spiritual healers, alongside nutritional guidance. Whatever your reason for seeking respite, the Six Senses will be sure to offer the antidote you need.
St Tropez: for those looking for luxury
When we say luxury we mean luxury. Hotel Byblos in the French Riviera is where Mick and Bianca Jagger married and Grace Kelly holidayed. So what better spot to unwind. Recently undergoing a reinvention, their Sisley spa is decorated with rare marble and exotic wood, and offers a menu created with the help of a renowned shaman. Before you’ve even stepped into a treatment room you’ll feel calmer thanks to their new ‘Eaux Rêvées’ Turkish baths and waterfalls. Hotel Byblos’ pièce-de-résistance ? Here you don’t book treatments, you book time and the experts decide how you spend it.
Crete: for fitness fanatics
If you destress by increasing your heartrate, personal trainer and nutrition coach Jenny Fisher’s ‘Get Salty’ Travelgems retreat is the one for you. With an aim to build physical and mental strength, the six-day retreat uses HIIT classes alongside nutritional advice and mindfulness, for a 360-degree approach to wellness. Set at the secluded Cretan Malia Park in Crete, Greece, you’ll be able to recuperate after a morning of movement at it’s private beach or one of it’s sustainable and locally sourced restaurants. You’ll leave feeling ready to take on the world.
Rome: for a city escape
It’s hard to believe the Bulgari Hotel is new to the city of Rome, given it’s their hometown and the capital has been a constant source of inspiration for the brand. But it’s true what they say; the best things in life are worth waiting for. Located in the heart of the Campo Marzio, the hotel is perfect for those looking to switch off from their day-to-day without cutting themselves off from humanity. You can experience Italy’s hustle and bustle and then retreat to the Bulgari hotel’s splendor when you need to indulge in some serious R&R. The spa has to be seen to be believed. Channelling its Roman heritage, think shimmering mosaics (which draw inspiration from motifs used in the celebrated Baths of Caracalla), and glittering gold. Spa treatments have been designed by Augustinus Bader, so you know you’re in good hands.

Rome Luxury Vacations
One of the oldest continuously occupied cities in Europe, Rome has been a cosmopolitan center for three millennia, an international capital of culture. No surprise then, that history surrounds you on every street. Iconic sites like the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, St. Peter’s Basilica, and Vatican City thrill thousands of travelers each year. And where hospitality is concerned, charisma doesn’t begin to cover the Roman outlook on life. It’s one of pride and passion and romance – destined to rub off on all who visit.
Anchored by the celebrated River Tiber, the Eternal City overflows with powerful and iconic art and architecture – fountains, mosaics, paintings, frescoes, and sculptures – priceless treasures are everywhere you look. World-class museums and fabled monuments ring with familiar names – Michelangelo, da Vinci, Caravaggio, Raphael. Reminders of ancient civilization mix effortlessly with modern street culture. Famous ruins and museums are all just part of the day-to-day scenery – the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and
nearby Capitoline Museums, and the Pantheon temple (with Bernini’s magnificent Elephant and Obelisk directly behind). Galleria Borghese is an absolute must. Luckily, you can gorge on the food here as well as the art. From the hip trattorias to the five-star restaurants, the city’s superb culinary offerings are beyond satisfying, the standard for perfection set very high. This is also evidenced in the quality
of the luxury accommodations, be it Hotel de Russie, Hotel Hassler, or the famous Hotel Ingehilterra. And the shopping along Via Dei Condotti, Via Borgognona, and Via Frattina will warrant an extra suitcase for the trip home. Sitting at a café table in Monti, wandering the market in Campo de Fiori, or strolling down Via Appia Antica – one of the most beautiful walks in the world – you will be forever changed by a visit to Rome. It’s only a matter of time.

What is the most memorable vacation you have planned for a client? A ladies' food and shopping trip across Italy, including Rome, Lake Como, Sorrento, Cinque Terre, and Portofino. It was such a fun trip to plan from beginning to end and the ladies enjoyed every minute of it and planned to do it again!
Natalie Thomson
What is the most memorable vacation you have planned for a client? I booked a group of 14-16 people on a Uniworld River Cruise, who wanted to include a cycling trip. I researched several companies asking if they would follow our river cruise down the Rhine. There were a lot of components, but it turned out perfect!
