This design accommodates speakers of 6.5” and can be purchased with or without our Polk speakers. Although designed to work with the Chopped Tour Pak, will also work with the full-size King/Ultra paks for those seeking bigger speaker fitment.

As pictured in our Tan SoftDash leather look finish, also available in Black or Gray SoftDash materials as well as Chrome plated / SoftDash two-tone.

Chopped Box (Tour Pac)

Dragonfly cycle concepts has just released their new chopped box.

The Chopped Box Lid has a smoothed out top for a much cleaner look than the factory piece for a true custom look. The new Chopped Box is made of High Temp RTM, which is as smooth on the inside as the outside. Cured at 300 Degrees, it will not get Fiberglass print through over time from being in the sun or not fit nice. When complete kit is purchased we use all factory HD hardware for long, worry free use. The tour pack can be used with Factory HD docking systems or ours, which gives clean non visible mounts that are hidden when the Box is removed so nobody even knows you have one. This system will also let you use the factory back rest, (09-current needs adapter kit.)

These streamlined mounts receive all sizes H-D® Tour-Pacs® for mounting on backrest attachment mounts, eliminating the bulky 4-Point OE Hardware Kit. Four unit fitments are available to cover early and late models and to carry King Packs or Chopped and Razor Packs —mounts for King Tour-Pacs® are bolt-on while others are quick release. Mounting hardware is included in kits for '09-Up and only front points are included for ’96-’08 since rear points are typically stock (call Dragonfly to purchase). These mounts also allow for easy exchange of Backrest and Tour Pack. Drilling of Tour-Pak™ floor is required.

NOTE: This mounting unit has no allowance for mounting of license plate frame, remote mount amplifier or other items mounted on underside of OE Tour-Pak™ Mount. Customer is responsible for relocation of such items on bike.

Aftermarket Tour Pak

So . . . . Currently on a deployment with nothing to do in my free time but think of what mods I'm gonna do when I get home . . . this could get EXPENSIVE. I have a 2018 RGS that I want to add a tour pak to. My dilemma is that I want the function (space) of a king tour pak, but can't stand the look of the king tour pak without the speakers. I don't want to spend the money on speakers because I use a bluetooth headset. Anybody got any first hand experience with some of the aftermarket (different style) "king" tour paks? Any of them any good?? If all else fails, I may just go with a HD chopped.  

I know Advanblack sells aftermarket tourpaks. I can't attest to the quality of the tourpaks but I just got air deflectors from them. The color match is perfect.  

I have the king tour pak with the speaker pods but no speakers. I made snapped covers for the wife to use as storage cause we didn’t want speakers back there. 04 Road Glide  

I have the advanblack Amber Whiskey king. It is a good quality. Bigger plate inside than hd. Good color match. I'm very happy with it. I really REALLY like the look of a chopped tour pak but if I can't get a full face in it I'd rather do without. So I bought the king which will hold two helmets. I left the rack off and the lights off. Which cleans it up a little. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Several years ago I ordered the 4 1/2 “ stretched bags from AdvanBlack for my old 12’ RGC . The color was Big Blue Pearl . Color match was spot on ! Good friend of mine just ordered the lowers for his velocity sunglow red Streetglide , and he could not be happier ! Also, if there is an issue with their customer service is outstanding  

I'm going to pull the trigger on the advanblack king tour pack in billiard blue. I can get the black latches which I prefer over chrome for the rgs. I was going to go with the chopped. But I like my ride with nothing on the back except when 2 up. So might as well get the largest storage for when I need it. That's chopped does look good though.

After months of going back and forth on whether to get the Advablack or OEM Tour Pak, I just ordered the Advanblack one. Since I have a custom color, I'm a little nervous but I know they have a pretty easy return policy. Their heat shields matched pretty well so hopefully their tour pak does. The $800 savings was the deciding factor. I'll post pics when it comes.
