Satrom Travel & Tour, Inc. was founded in 1978 by Katherine and Joe Satrom. We are a full service travel and tour company with offices in Bismarck and Minot, ND. We are proud to provide personalized travel services to thousands of clients each year. Early in the more than three decades of our business, we realized that we wanted to provide high quality, price competitive travel services and tour experiences with “enhanced” features that make each tour special. This commitment has served us well and continues to be a hallmark of our business.

Satrom Travel and Tour’s tours such as New England Fall Foliage, New York Theatre, and our enhanced Alaska cruises and cruise tours continue to be extraordinarily popular. In addition, we are proud to offer cultural tours that feature well known lecturers, personalities, hostesses and hosts that bring special knowledge and experiences to each tour. We also custom design student travel experiences that combine educational and performance opportunities with sightseeing and cultural programs.

We are pleased to be a state and regional leader in travel. We enjoy serving the travel needs of people throughout the nation and beyond.

In 2016 Satrom Travel & Tour was acquired by Direct Travel. Direct Travel, Inc. is a leading provider of corporate travel management, and leisure and vacation travel services.   Direct Travel has been providing travel management for over 40 years, and is now in over 60 locations in the US and Canada.  In the last several years, Direct Travel has acquired a number of predominantly leisure travel companies, such as Satrom Travel & Tour.  In April, 2017, Direct Travel merged with Vision Travel, Inc., the largest independent travel management company in Canada.
