Volcano Challenge

Volcano Challenge Tour (6 nights, 4 Day riding) package includes:

• 4 days of awesome riding ending with a ride from the Pacific beaches to the Volcano

Note: If the selected hotel is unavailable for the chosen dates, we will try our best to secure lodging at an equivalent hotel.

Arrival Day – Pick up a t Enrique Malek Airport in David and transfer to Boquete. Orientation to the town of Boquete and introduction, setup of controls and suspension to the Husqvarna TE250i enduro motorbikes at JST Panama headquarters.

Caldera-Fortuna 8.30 am Tour introduction and safety briefing before we head out for a day of riding.

We will ride from the area of Volcancito to Lucero through country lanes with coffee plantations on either side, once we get to Lucero we will be riding down a gravel trail that leads to the sleepy town of Caldera.

Crossing the Caldera River we will pass by the hot springs and ride a flowing easy trail to the town of Paja Sombrero.

From Paja Sombrero we will head up the Caldera Valley to a height of 1,337M with fantastic views down the valley.

The riding in this stretch of trail is a fast double track along the side of the valley and it comes to an end at the Fortuna dam which is the halfway point between Chiriqiui and Bocas del Toro.

We will stop here for a rest beside a waterfall and eat some fresh fruit and some chicken empanadas to fuel us up for the next leg of our adventure.

We cross over the dam and work our way down the other side of the valley arriving back in the town of Caldera for lunchtime.

Lunch is at our favorite local restaurant which serves some excellent local food.

After lunch we will cross over the Caldera river again and ride down the trail to the hot springs “La Abuela”.

Bring your swimsuits so we can take a well-earned dip in the therapeutic waters.

At this point we have a choice, we can either spend a longer time at the hot springs and then head back to Boquete on the gravel road we came down from or if we have enough energy, we can hit a single technical track back up to Boquete.

Once we are back at JST Panama HQ we will transport you down to Hotel Ladera.

Potrerillos:

8.30 am pickup at Hotel Ladera , tour introduction and safety briefing before we head out for a day of riding. Heading in another direction today we once again start by riding through some country lanes to the area of Palmira, famous for its geisha coffee plantations, passing Palmira we come to the town of Potrerillos which is our jumping point for today’s rides.

We head up towards Volcano Baru through some double track first of all which then narrows down to a challenging single track that winds its way through the cloud forest to a height of 1,720M. We have various single-track trails in this area and we will spend the morning exploring all of them. We will head down to the town of Potrerillos for lunch and then after lunch, we will ride through the orange groves to an area called La Elvira for a mixture of double track and single-track trails.

If the group has a lot of experience, we have a “Hard Enduro” single technical track in this area also. Back in the town of Potrerillos we will head back to JST HQ for a well deserved cold beer. Once we are back at JST Panama HQ we will transport you down to Hotel Ladera. 

Gualaca. 8.30 am pickup at Hotel Ladera, tour introduction and safety briefing before we head out for a day of riding. Following the first part of day 1, we will start at the area of Lucero where we will ride through some farm access trails with spectacular views of the surrounding canyons and Volcano Baru. This trail quickly turns to a horse trail that crosses a couple of small rivers which we have the opportunity to jump in quickly to cool down.

From the last river crossing the trail winds up through different challenging terrain which then drops down to the town of Caldera through a really fun, fast but obstacle-strewn section. Crossing the Caldera River we head in the direction of Gualaca, riding a short distance on double track and then on to single track climbs through farmland and up to a mountain ridgeline.

Great views from the top of the Pacific Ocean and Caldera on one side and Gualaca on the other. A fast, double-track ride down the other side of the mountain brings us to the town of Gualaca. Lunch will be in a local restaurant in the town square and then after lunch, we will ride 5 minutes to the famous slot canyons “Cangilones” for a refreshing soak. We can ride up the river crossing from the rock to gravel river beds and then on to a trail that leads us out to the reservoir of Barrigon where we ride around its perimeter on a gravel road to a trailhead that leads up to Caldera.

Riding up through flowing farm access trails we reach the town of Caldera and then fast run home to Boquete on gravel roads at the end of the day. Once we are back at JST Panama HQ we will transport you down to Hotel Ladera.

Volcano Challenge, Barqueta beach to the top of Volcan Baru.

5 am pick up at Hotel Ladera, tour introduction and safety briefing before we head out for a day of riding. Early rise as we have 160km of riding today! Load up the bikes and we drive down to the beach of Barqueta.

With an early start, we head off along fast sandy trails from the beach through small villages and then across a boulder-strewn river and then through sugar cane fields. Right before David, we come to a canyon where the river destroyed the bridge so the only way across is to lower the bikes down the canyon side by ropes!

Refuel in David, then we reach the trails of San Antonio and El Valle which are super fun fast tracks leading up to Gualaca. Crossing the wide river at Gualaca we take the technical single track up to Caldera and then further single track up to the famous “Nino Grande” hill which seems to be never-ending! Arriving at Jaramillo we pass through some more single-track connections that drop down to Boquete. Refueling in Boquete we then ride through a coffee plantation to arrive at the foot of the Volcano. Only 30 more minutes and we will be at the top of the Volcano, the highest part of Panama.

Important to keep your momentum up on this last stretch as there is a lot of loose rock in sections. Finally, we reached the top at 3,474M. Mission completed! Once we are back at JST Panama HQ we will transport you down to Hotel Ladera.

The trip was amazing from the beginning to the end. As i was the only one who booked on this date I had a private tour. Just me and the guide. We drove on a wide variety of terrain with increasing difficulty. The guide always made sure i feel comfortable with the trail and gave tips on how to improve. I felt very well looked after. I loved every second of the trip!

The best attraction we had in Panama! The guide picked us up from the hotel, gave us the equipment and hasquarvanas 250. The gear was in great shape and the motorcycles were fully functional for the entire trip. We drove through the forests and hills around boquete, and the view was amazing! The guide knew which trails to pick according to our level of experience, so you don’t have to worry if you’re completely new to this experience, and you’ll probably be taken to more challenging trails if you’re a pro! The guide and owner (Kiren) is a really cool and interesting guy. Go talk to them and have fun!We drove on a wide variety of terrain with increasing difficulty. The guide always made sure i feel comfortable with the trail and gave tips on how to improve. I felt very well looked after. I loved every second of the trip!

Mid march 2020, i took a day dirtbike tour with Keiron and it was just Amazing. We went thought à great variety of trail and difficulties To end up at the hot spring to relax à bit.

Keiron is a great guide and after the day, Kieron went futhur to fulfill customer service to help me scedule my flight 2 days before covid close the country.

I highly recommand Kieron and his company to anyone who wants à great dirtbike tour.

I half expected it our tour to be a leisurely stroll down an easy trail, but it was way better! Challenging terrain, great bikes, awesome English speaking guide combined with beautiful views. Definitely worth every penny.

Endotours was a fantastic time riding though the mountains of boquete panama. The tour guide was very nice to give us lessons and help navigate the fun trails. The dirt bikes were absolutely top notch and easy to ride. The trails the tour guide picked where a fun variety of dirt, semi road, gravel, which winded through the mountains. I would love to ride again !

Where Are the Best Off-Road Motorcycle Tours?

Like most things the answer depends on your own personal preferences. If you hope to ride gravel roads and sandy tracks across endless steppe, desert, and rolling hills with no fences or any other human activity in sight for days on end, Mongolia is the best place to go. In addition to traversing wide open spaces and putting in some serious dirt miles, in Mongolia, you will also get to overnight with semi-nomadic locals living in yurts, see the awe-inspiring Gobi Desert, and get that coveted selfie with the massive Genghis Khan statue looming over the Mongolian plains just outside of Ulaanbaatar.

If you’re looking for a tropical paradise with muddy jungle trails, creek crossings, and rocky climbs, South East Asia is a fantastic destination for off-road motorcycle tours. Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia are perfect for dirt bike adventures as off-road riding here is virtually unlimited, and you’ll get to explore different terrain ranging from rugged mountains to lush green tropical forests and beaches along the way.

Another one of our favourites is Colombia, a country seemingly made for off-road motorcycle tours. From the pristine shores of the Caribbean down to the Andes Mountains and the Amazon basin, Colombia boasts so many different off-road riding trails it’s impossible to see it all in just one trip. Sweeping gravel roads, mountain passes, the green rolling hills of the coffee region, challenging jungle trails – Colombia has got it all, plus incredibly friendly locals and world’s most delicious coffee.

To combine off-road motorcycle tours with otherworldly landscapes and unique wildlife sightings, head on over to Namibia, a country in South West Africa famous for its jaw-dropping scenery and free-roaming wildlife including elephants, lions, rhinos, buffalo, and much more.

For pure desert riding, Morocco has no rivals. Off-road motorcycle tours in Morocco focus on the mighty Sahara Desert, the giant dunes around Merzouga, the rocky foothills of the Atlas Mountains, and the old Paris-Dakar rally tracks crisscrossing the entire country. Out here, you can ride the open desert, tackle some of the dunes, and have the unlimited freedom to ride anywhere from the sands of the Sahara to the rocky trails of the Atlas passes.

Best Bikes for Off-road Motorcycle Touring

While it may be tempting to rent a dual sport or an adventure bike for an off-road motorcycle tour, your best bet is a light, nimble dirt bike. This is because for off-road motorcycle touring, you need a machine capable of tackling any terrain and any road conditions, and you have to be able to easily pick it up if you fall (and, chances are, fall you will). Smaller dirt bikes such as Yamaha WR250, Honda CRF250L, or Honda 350 are excellent for dirt bike tours in South East Asia where you’ll be battling hot, humid temperatures and plenty of mud and river crossings. For places like Mongolia, something like a KTM 450 EXC will be an excellent choice, as this rally-style motorcycle will be more than capable of gnarly off-road sections while also comfortably carry you over longer distances across the steppe.

In general, most off-road motorcycle tours offer dirt bikes in the 250-450cc range. Anything less, and you may not have enough power, especially for hill climbs or longer distances; anything more, and chances are, it’ll simply be too heavy and cumbersome for the type of riding you will be doing.

5 reasons to go on a Dirt Bike Tour

1. the experience.

Riding a dirt bike in a foreign country is a completely different experience than traveling the same country on tarmac roads. Smaller backcountry routes, local dirt trails, and gravel roads usually only used by locals will reveal much more of what the country is all about. You’ll get to visit small villages and towns, chat to the locals, see their ways of life from a much more intimate perspective, and discover all the hidden gems that highways simply won’t take you to. Think of your own country: would a foreigner better experience your homeland traveling freeways and stopping at Starbucks, or would they see a much more interesting picture taking small backroads, lunching at a mom-and-pop style eateries, and exchanging opinions about weather and road conditions with a small town gas station attendant? It’s the same when you ride off-road abroad: you’ll get to see, experience, and learn much more.

2. The Riding

Culture aside, off-road motorcycle tours are all about the riding. Going on a tour somewhere you’ve never ridden before, you’ll get to try your mojo on different terrain, trail conditions, and surfaces: you’ll tackle sand, mud, gravel, rocks, water crossings, and steep climbs and ascends, all while surrounded by breathtaking scenery. That’s just not something you can do at home, which is why off-road motorcycle tours are so much fun.

3. The Challenge

Even if you’re an expert off-road rider, chances are, abroad, you will encounter something you’ve never done before. Crossing a rickety wooden bridge in Laos, battling the deep sand in the Sahara, learning to deal with thick, slippery mud in Colombia – whichever destination you pick, you’ll face and overcome challenges on a daily basis making you a better rider as a result.

4. The Camaraderie

Motorcycle tour participants make friends instantly – after all, you’re all there for the same reason and the same passion – but nothing creates camaraderie as quickly as off-road motorcycle tours. After you’ve helped each other get across a deeper creek, dragged each other’s bikes up a muddy hill, or shared zip ties to keep a runaway faring in place, you’ll become instant buddies both on and off the trails. Dirt riding is all about camaraderie, and there’s no shortage of that on any guided off-road motorcycle tour.

As they say, we don’t really grow up, we just get bigger toys: and when it comes to riding off-road, let’s face it, it’s all about the fun factor. When you’re riding dirt and tackling challenging trails, it’s like the entire world falls away and there’s only you, fully in the present moment, opening that throttle wide on a gravel road, chase mode on – there simply isn’t a better feeling in the world than this!

We offer off road  enduro bike tours  which are minimum 80% single and double track dirt roads. The incredible jungles of Northern Thailand boasts over 5000kms of perfect enduro terrain.

Our Northern Thailand adventure tours explore the southern and mid areas of this region. Some days with up to 32 river crossings. Our guides have vast knowledge of this region and we often do not see another person on the tracks. Single track riding in the deepest Jungle terrain is something very special in Thailand, no map holds this information. The terrain is extremely varied and offers great contrasting riding days, full of adventure and excitement. All our bikes are modified to suit the riding here (we do not use standard rental dirt bikes).

We are the only company offering such high quality bikes and with specific modifications, all designed to make your tour the best it can possibly be.  We are currently using  HONDA CRF 250 and CRF 300 bikes for all off road, dual terrain and Super Motard tours . Modifications include, bigger footpegs, larger more comfortable seats, aftermarket exhaust systems, upgraded gearing , belly pan for engine protection, all bikes are de-restricted and all are fitted with full dirt tyres.  All tours are flexible :

For 2023, Speed & Sport Adventures is co-promoting a zesty 9-day jaunt down the Mexican Peninsula. We call it The Ultimate Baja Adventure - A legend's ride chasing sunsets , dodging cactus , and searching for the ultimate fish tacos . This guided dirt bike tour will feature a 1200-mile off-road ride with motorcycle great Paul Krause. Think this is just another Baja trip? Well, think again. Guests have the option of starting our tour a few days early on the Carnival Miracle cruise ship from Long Beach, California . From there, guests can clear customs in Ensenada and walk off the ship and hop directly on your dirt bike . We can deliver your motorcycle right to the dock, or you can rent a bike from High Desert Adventures . 

From Ensenada, there will be seven days of riding, one day of relaxation, and a big party in the incredible resort town of Cabo San Lucas .

This is an exclusive guided dirt bike tour for 17, yes 17 people only. Wives can also join in on the cruise ship action and/or meet the group at the tip of Baja in Cabo.

Whether you are a first-time Baja explorer or a seasoned vet, you will experience something new and unforgettable on your tour with High Desert Adventures and Speed & Sport Adventures. Paul Krause has raced for Team Green Kawasaki, ATK, Husqvarna and Red Bull KTM all over the world. He's won the Baja 500 five times and claimed three overall victories in the legendary Baja 1000. Simply put, he's one of the most-experienced Baja riders of all-time. Paul's also competed in the International Six Days Enduro 11 times, raced the gnarly Dakar Rally, and won SCORE's San Felipe 250. This is the rare opportunity to do a dirt bike tour with a guy that has literally been there, done that!

Our normal dirt bike tour begins in San Diego, California and guests literally walk across the international U.S./Mexico bo rder to Tijuana . Each of the activities below is an upgrade and costs more, and will be custom-tailored to your personal desires. Cruise into Ensenada

While guests who cross the border in Tijuana will stay at the world-famous Horsepower Ranch in Ensenada, we offer the option to leave from Long Beach, California on April 20 and arrive  in Ensenada at 8am on April 22. Those who select this option will have their bikes picked up in Long Beach on the morning of April 20 by High Desert Adventures, and then transported to Ensenada where your bike will be waiting for you when you get off the ship.

Stay Longer & Hit A Cabo Resort

Our crew frequently vacations in Cabo San Lucas and knows a lot about the world-class resorts. The picture above was taken from Ken Faught 's room at the Grand  Solmar which is situated near the famous El Arco arch and the marina . Fly into Horsepower Ranch

For this unique event, we are working with the legendary Jim McCoy on offering V.I.P. helicopter transport from San Diego, California to our first hotel, the famous Horsepower Ranch. Whether in the Pyrennes, in the coastal tracks , inland’s highlands or the outskirts of Barcelona city, Catalunya is an infinite playground with mind-blowing landscapes … and the Sun!

• Given as part of a regular days ride, tips on body-balance on the bike, fine tuning setting up the machine, just to name a few will make you dab less and stop you from walking tricky bits, simple techniques on varying trail conditions that will get you riding more confidently and faster. We will stop at a particular section of trail where a new level of skill can be acquired, riding a rock garden safely or repeting a steep step or wet roots. And the result in a gradual increase in technical gain. Available for novice to medium riders, most come away riding small drops and tight rocky corners.
• The terrain is varying betweeen and even inside the playgrounds; some are loose, dry, fast and flowing to rocky and a fair few tight corners thrown in. Others are a bit muddy, even grassy in the highest mountains with lots of grip.
• Bring your own bike (see FAQs) or We have a small selection of enduro hire bikes on offer. Prices are – 50€ day or 280€ for a week. Of course nothing can compare to your own trusty steed but our bikes are very well prepared for the rigours of the tracks out here. All bikes are equipped with 140 to 160mm of travel, short stems, wide bars, big brakes and tyres. You will just need all your regular riding kit plus knee pads. The maximum DH is an option from may to september in the nearest bike-parks wether in Spain, France or Andorra. Contact us for more info

Enduro Tour Pyrenees

You can count on empty trails, no braking bumbs, no fire roads and nothing groomed. Each stage has between 7 and 25 kilometers down, from 2500 mts above the sea level down to 800 mts. Tracks are long but riders will have the advantage of lift access to give their legs a break between taking on the steep, rugged and technical mountain side. The largely unknown trails will be rided leading you through abandoned villages and ancient forests against the backdrop of the stunning Pyrenees Mountains.

Enduro Tour Barcelona

We offer different terrains, combining different natural areas within no more than 50 minuts transfer from the city center. Mediterranean’s coastal tracks and Barcelona surroundings mountains with huge trail networks have the added bonus of being able to head back to the seaside by the beach for a well earned gelato at the end of the day…besides living Bcn’s beat from the inside.

Enduro Tour Girona

We will see riders tackling the iconic trails of this area that features an incredible trail network dating back over the centuries brought back to life by the strong local mountain-biking community. It’s not strange to see Oton, Clementz, Chausson or Cedric Gracia training here. This trip will give a great tour of the area – famous for its geothermal pools, fern filled forests and flowing singletrack. Green hills plenty of climbing and a high number of shorter stages. We have operated many tours worldwide throughout the last 20 years and need to say this was one of the better-handled Adventures. Christophe planned the routes carefully and adjusted daily to the needs of the group. Each year as winter comes upon us, and I start going through the normal routine of putting my bikes away for the season, I tend to start looking ahead to the upcoming model year. Thanks to the good old pandemic it is hard to know when the next chance to attend a Motorcycle Show might be. Knowing this, and knowing we will start seeing many buyers' guides listing every single detail of everything being produced for 2023, I wanted to give you my list of the bikes that have my attention in the Enduro world. 

I am not looking to hit the motocross tracks, but I live in Western Canada, with endless trails in the mountains and foothills, and I love exploring them all. A powerful, fast enduro, that I can feel confident with on all kinds of terrain is the key.

With that knowledge, you will see how this list reflects such. 

About Our Selections

These selections considered ease of use, rideability, price, and how effective each motorcycle was achieving the stated goal of its class. We are confident that any of these bikes will be superb options for most riders.

To further define what we are meaning by "Enduro" we have set our sights at bikes that either fit the competition enduro criteria, or are dirt bikes that are not meant for motocross.

2023 Honda CRF450RL

One of the best all-around enduro bikes that also works as a dual-sport

Why We Picked It:

The Honda CRF450RL is packed with off-road goodness. The “R” reminds us that the 2023 model uses the CRF450R motocross platform, then tunes it for trail greatness. 

Engine modifications include; a specific crankshaft for this bike that adds inertia and enhances low RPM torque, and three piston rings to increase durability. A new ECU further refines the fuel injection tuning bringing the 449cc Unicam engine to 41.7 hp, and 23.6 lb/ft of torque.

The frame was widened slightly to accommodate a 6-speed transmission, providing a wider gear spacing to benefit both, low-speed abilities, and a tall 6th gear for long high speed stretches. 

The Showa 49 mm front fork has 12 inches of travel and the Prolink rear suspension 11.8 inches of travel. New lightweight handguards are standard. The titanium fuel tank is 20% larger than the R at 2.0 gallons (7.6L).

In street-legal ready to ride trim the bike comes in at 291 lbs.

2023 Yamaha WR250F

A durable trail bike that has been in top 10 lists for over a decade now

This is the machine for those who are all about, light is right. Yamaha has been making constant progressive improvements to the WR250F, and it is almost more race bike than enduro. This makes sense with so much of this bike being straight up a YZ250F race bike with a headlight added.

I am being a bit facetious about that, but much of this bike comes right from the motocross sibling. The cylinder head gets some rework, and ups the power from bottom to top. Not by much, but early riders have commented that it is noticeable. The frame, clutch, and brakes all get tweaked, which adds up to the 2023 model being the best version of the WR250F yet.

The harder you push this bike the more it rewards that aggression. Seat height is 37.6 inches, something to note for shorter riders, although due to this bike not being street legal it may be less of a factor. At just 254 lbs wet, and with an excellent KYB suspension, tossing this bike into corners, will certainly make you grin like a maniac.

Built to withstand multiple days of absolutely no-roads-no-problems riding

2023 Beta 500 RR-S

If there was ever a time to call something a super-enduro, this bike is it

Once again Beta makes small improvements to the RR-S lineup of street-legal off-road bikes. Beta makes this bike with 4 engine choices but it is the 500 that is the sales leader.

With lots of low-end grunt and a very light 243lb wet weight, the Beta 500 RR-S, can certainly stretch your arms. To get the power down,  the rear shock has new compression damping settings with independent high and low-speed damping rates providing the rider with the adjustability for both separate settings. The front fork also gets a small valving change, and the clutch diaphragm is new providing lighter pull and more progressive control.

Beta improved the front LED headlight plus the overall graphics and color scheme, so you should be more visible than ever on the road and trail.

One of the oldest motorcycle companies still running. Has an established enduro history that is nothing to scoff at with input and developmental help from KTM

Very lightweight for the power it puts down with grunt all over the low to mid rev range

2023 KTM 350 EXC-F

Another instant classic from the Austrian off-road wizards

The KTM 350 four-stroke has been the most popular in their enduro lineup. Known for fantastic 450 like power, and 250 like handling, I am choosing it for this list over the 500 EXC-F. I honestly feel like it is the one I would be choosing out of the KTM lineup .

The 2022 model doesn’t change much from last year. The main improvement looks to come with the WP suspension. The WP Xplor 48mm fork’s tubes get a new oil bypass and damping changes. The XPLOR forks come with reduced friction thanks to updated outer tubes, a polished spring for less pollution of the oil, and a reworked upper cartridge screw connection to enhance rebound damping. The PDS shock now boasts a new O-ring that is less prone to deformation, wear, and fading, while new settings offer better bottoming out resistance.

Yes, you can go off-road with nothing but electricity.

Are you ready to consider an electric bike yet? There is little doubt that electric vehicles of all types are where the world is headed, and Zero is right out front with their motorcycles.

The FX is more to the dual sport side of the dirt world, but it is certainly capable of being a competent Enduro machine. The 2023 Zero FX comes in two specs, 3.6 kWh and 7.2 kWh. I would be choosing the 7.2 battery which has a range of 91 miles and a curb weight of 289 lbs.

There is plenty about making the switch to a Zero that will be new, but experienced riders will adapt quickly. First off, there is no clutch. You have one gear and just a constant progression of power as you twist the throttle. Second, there is huge torque. With 78 ft-lb peak torque available instantly, this bike can easily pull you out of all kinds of situations. Lastly, it is so quiet. You will hear just the belt turning and the wheels over the ground. At first, it is bizarre, but then it quickly becomes amazing.

Drawbacks? I would not expect to toss it around as hard as a KTM, the Showa suspension is good, just not at the same level as others on this list. The Zero FX is capable, but it does lean more to the dual sport side and not the motocross level of expectation. That said, you have a bike that you will tend to ride in town more often than you would any other enduro on this list. The biggest drawback for some will be charging. Get the optional fast charger ($600) and that can bring the time down to 3 hours for a full charge.

Motocross Tenerife - Enduro moto bike Tour is for a real men only! For this Tenerife off road motorcycle tour you must love adrenaline, have a wish to explore the island in an unusual manner and possess at least some experience in motorbike riding.

This is the tour of action. For some of you it is also about learning driving across the various rough terrains. That's what in Canary motorcycle tours can surely serve you. You are going wild trails that even the most of locals don’t know they exists.

The Tenerife off road motorbike tour is absolutely fantastic experience, but it is not for those soft men asking mammy’s permission to do own decisions.

That’s not about you? So let’s go on! We strongly recommend you read this tour description fully to completely understand where you are packing into. Just before you book.

A real man is first of all a well self-organized person. So, do not call us asking if there’s tour availability for tomorrow. Oh, hells bells and buckets of blood, NO! Here in Tenerife even ambulance probably wouldn’t come tomorrow! Book in advance!

We don’t like that and, if you were us, you wouldn’t like that as well. Make your booking of enduro motocross Tenerife trip in advance. A good manner to do in a month or at least in a week or two before the day you plan to go on the tour.

To participate in the tour you must meet following conditions:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• No children allowed to take part in the tour.
• You have at least car driving license with category B.
• Your driving experience - minimum 3 years.

How to book this enduro motocross Tenerife off-road tour?

Booking is really easy. To make your reservation, please:

• Choose the Motocross Tenerife option you prefer to have (read below about the options we offer).
• Under the chosen option using “+” and “-” set number of people if you are going with friends and not alone, and click OK.
• Then select your language, so guide will try to talk with you in your language.
• Later select the desired motocross in tenerife date and go on with booking.

To make the tour reservation you will have to pay the booking deposit - it is a partial payment securing your booking. The rest, balance, you pay directly to the guide on the day of the tour with cash.

Even the full day tour option is the best one, but people are with different levels of experiences and not the same budgets, so we offer 3 different off-road motorcycle tours for the Motocross in tenerife:

• Full day 7 hour Enduro Adventure - Tenerife Motocross Adventure you are going to explore the island well, even approaching heart of the island and the edge of the wall of pre-historic crater of Teide - the biggest single crater in the world. The full day moto Enduro tenerife tour is absolutely unique and amazing experience for those who love driving off-road, love motorcycles and unusual experiences.

Pickup for the Tenerife motocross tour:

That is quite easy and comfortable!

Previously, our guide was able to pick you up right from hotels or any other location along the coast of South Tenerife, from El Medano till Callao Salvaje. In short, if you was staying in following locations, the was able guide comes to pick you up with a car directly from your hotel or from the nearest hotel if you are accommodated in a private apartment:

• Playa de Las Americas
• Playa Paraiso
• Callao Salvaje
• Golf del Sur
• Las Galletas
• Costa del Silencio
• San Miguel de Abona
• Las Chafiras

At the same time, after September 2022. we cannot offer Hotel Pickup and ask for your understanding. If you are those locations or from the other parts of Tenerife like Puerto de La Cruz, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Los Gigantes, etc… Then simply come at the appointed time to our meeting point in San Miguel de Abona and meet the guide there.

On the meeting poin you have to:

• Show to the guide your tour Voucher (could be on the phone screen - no need to print it).
• Show your original driving license (not a photo or a copy).
• Pay the remaining balance in cash.

How the Tenerife off-road motorcycle tour is starting?

Once you arrived to our base above Las Chafiras, you are going to receive full protecting and safety equipment and introduction with instructions about Tenerife dirt bike riding from our professional motocross guide.

You are receiving your enduro tenerife motorcycle and going to the located beside motocross circuit to test your abilities.

Depend on your abilities and on the type of driving license you are going on the motocross Tenerife riding with a selected by instructor motorcycle.

If you have no motorcycle off-road experience, never been in riding moto Enduro tenerife or any off-road motorcycle, you will be given instructions and your guide will choose the rhythm appropriate to your abilities. In this case, and also if you possess the only car driving licence (category B) then you will be driving one of our lightweight Husqvarna 125CC enduro tenerife motorcycles.

In the case, if you possess Category A in your driving licence, you will drive one of our KTM 250CC or powerful nearly racing 350CC four-stroke moto Enduro tenerife!

Is the fuel and motocross equipment rental included?

Yes, it is. Absolutely no need to bring your own equipment and things for moto Enduro Tenerife trip from your home country. We let you everything you need on the tour.

What areas and trails of Tenerife are you going to explore along your Tenerife motocross experience?

As it was mentioned above, it depend on the chosen motocross option.

With the shortest and simplest 2-hour route we are riding coastal volcanic trails of less developed parts of the Southern Tenerife. It is nice, not too complicated route for people with no or a little experience in off-road bike driving.

The longer 4-hours ride takes us up to the forestal area of Tenerife. Here, in the bright volcanic Canary pine forest that covering upper remote parts of the island, we will ride through the hidden forestal trails. This circuit is dedicated for those enduro dirt bike lovers who have a basic understanding of motorcycle off-road riding.

And finally, our favourite Tenerife off-road motorcycle trail is a long full-day, or 7-hour, trail. It takes you straight to the edge of the huge volcanic crater where’s Mount Teide standing in the middle. This cross-country route is dedicated for drivers with a motorbike driving experience and it’s a great adventure. No doubt, it hard to serve yourself something more memorable. Again, you are firstly riding all the way up, terrains are changing, from a soft sand and lava residuals, through the dusty, rocky and forestal trails up to the heart of Tenerife .

Then we drive totally different ways down doing a stop for a classic Canary lunch in a village on the way. Well, that’ll be already lunch with the friends, because you will definitely make friends with the guide and other Tenerife motocross participants. The lunch is included into the off-road motorcycle experience price, but probably you'd like to have something else, drinks, etc, so take some cash with you.

Ad the end of the day we will have a scenic seaside drive in uninhabited coastal areas to finish the exciting day tired and full of new experiences! Be sure, you will be back again and we will see again next time you come to Tenerife, every of the 365 days we are serving fun and adrenaline. Once we arrived at the meeting point, we were greeted by Max, our guide. He is extremely experienced in off-road adventures. Firstly, he asked us about our experience, and then we received our dirt bikes (KTM and Husqvarna) and protective gear for a driving test. That went well, and then we embarked on our trip. The experience surpassed all of our expectations - truly off-road, away from touristy areas, with rugged nature and challenging sections featuring sand, lava, and loose terrain, both along the coast and in the mountains. By the end, we were extremely tired, but it was the satisfying kind of tiredness, having completed a very challenging tour! We give Max and the tour overall 5 out of 5 stars!!!  Hide review

I was picked up and dropped off back at my hotel by the extremely personable Marco, who got me kitted out and onto a bike in no time at all. We started off nice and easy, giving Marco a chance to assess my riding level, and then the riding got progressively more challenging as the day wore on and I got warmed up. The riding itself is some of the toughest off-roading I've done, due to the nature of the trails - lots of large, loose rock, which leaves you hanging on for dear life. I'm reasonably fit and healthy, but by the end of the 4 hours, I was utterly exhausted and dehydrated, despite having downed about 3 liters of water on the tour! The dry heat and constant breeze seem to suck the moisture out of you as I've never experienced before. I absolutely loved it, though, and wouldn't hesitate to ride with Marco again, given the chance. Marco was a terrific guide, making sure I was ok the entire time, and keeping a pace I was happy with. He would also give a lot of interesting information on the island, the volcanos, and the geology and topography while chatting during rest stops. The landscape is incredible and very beautiful in a slightly desolate way. Thank you, guys!  Hide review

I haven't raced moto x for 30 years but after a crap quad bike tour I got the bug back and found these guys Marco and Massimo booked immediately and instantly taken back to my 1986 2 stroke machines was a little bit apprehensive as to my abilities and the self preservation mode that unfortunately comes with being 47. I needn't of worried what a blast the bikes were all extremely well maintained mainly ktms ranging from 125,250 & 350 2 stroke and 4 stroke i went for the 350 4 stroke all protective gear was provided boots knee pads body armour trousers top gloves helmet goggles water filled back pack everything you need. Marco led the way and with me and another guy behind he quickly works out your abilities and tailors the route accordingly DO NOT THINK YOUR JACK THE LAD AND OVER STATE YOUR ABILITIES HE WILL KNOW !!!! loads of different terrains long fast blasts plenty of tricky up and down sections sand sections (forgot how much I hated racing on sand lol) stacked it once (forgot how much that hurts also) But what an excursion to do I promise you all the positive reviews are totally deserved. We got back to the base which may I add is at a pukka moto x track we could of had a quick blast around it but tbh i was f*#!ked arms and legs pumped to the max so never done it but soon as I was back at hotel regretted not having a blast for old times sake next time for sure!!!! The WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series 2024 will return to Saalfelden Leogang in 2024. From 7 to 9 June, the UCI Enduro and Downhill World Cup will stop by the Epic Bikepark Leogang and Austria's largest bike-region Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn. Of course, last year's champions – local heroes Vali Höll and Andi Kolb – will be there, determined to defend their respective wins.
