50 Cent has announced a tour of Australia and New Zealand set to kick off later this year.

The veteran rapper took to social media yesterday (May 31) to announce the news, confirming that he is bringing his ‘The Final Lap’ tour to the region in December to celebrate 20 years of his acclaimed debut album ‘Get Rich Or Die Tryin”.

50 Cent has also promised “special guests” at his upcoming ‘The Final Lap Tour’ in Australia and New Zealand. Tickets to the tour are set to go on sale on Thursday, June 8 at 2pm local time. Tickets can be purchased via 50 Cent’s official website.

In January this year, 50 Cent announced plans to create a “modern” version of  Eminem ’s semi-autobiographical film  8 Mile . “I want to show and offer a lot more details, things that you would say in an interview or different things that you put out there. You’ll see those things surface in the temperament of the characters,” he said.

Earlier this month, the rapper also admitted that hanging upside down at last year’s Super Bowl was “a mistake” . The rapper made a surprise appearance at the Halftime Show, which saw him join  Dr. Dre ,  Snoop Dogg , Eminem,  Kendrick Lamar  and  Mary J. Blige  on stage.

Hip-hop music icon, actor and entrepreneur Curtis “ 50 Cent ” Jackson is returning to Australia this December. Celebrating the 20 th anniversary of Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ , 50 Cent’s huge visit down under is part of his The Final Lap Tour .

The Final Lap Tour will kick off in Perth on 2 December at RAC Arena, followed by Adelaide Entertainment Arena on 4 December, Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on 6 December, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on 8 December, and concludes at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on 10 December.

Live Nation members can access the pre-sale on Tuesday, 6 June, at 1 pm for 48 hours. General public tickets go on sale on Thursday, 7 June, at 2 pm local time. In addition to the general sale, Foxtel Rewards members can access exclusive reserved tickets once the tickets are on sale. 

The Final Lap Tour  will feature the rap icon performing dozens of fan-favourite and chart-topping hits along with select tracks that have not been performed live in decades.

50 Cent has announced Australian dates as part of his upcoming The Final Lap world tour, with the rapper set to play five arena dates at the end of the year. The tour celebrates two decades since 50 released his debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ .

The tour will begin at Perth’s RAC Arena on Saturday, 2nd December, before shows at Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena and Brisbane Entertainment Centre. Tickets are on sale Thursday, 8th June at 2pm. There’s also a Live Nation pre-sale beginning Tuesday, 6th June at 1pm.

50 Cent – ‘In Da Club’

50’s The Final Lap kicks off globally in July with a North American leg before European dates in September. Alongside hits and fan favourites, the tour is also set to see 50 perform tracks from his back catalogue that have not been performed live in decades. The rapper has also suggested the upcoming tour may well be his last.

“I won’t be running around like this no more,” he said during a video shared on Instagram last week. “I got to do my film and television stuff and got a lot of other things going on behind the scenes that I got to work on, so I won’t be out touring as much as I’ve been touring… I’m having fun this time because it’s set up to enjoy myself, we not feeling pressure.”

Get Rich or Die Tryin’ arrived in February 2003, a month after the release of its hit lead single, ‘In Da Club’. Singles like ‘P.I.M.P’ and the Nate Dogg-assisted ’21 Questions’ also enjoyed mainstream success. The album featured appearances from Eminem , Young Buck, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks, and it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. It was the best-selling album of 2003 in the US and went on to be certified 9x platinum.

50 has gone on to release four more albums since his debut, with the most recent being 2014’s Animal Ambition . Outside of music, 50 Cent executive produced and starred in the series, Power , and executive produced its three spin-offs.

Today, EMMY® and GRAMMY® award-winning multi hyphenate,  Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson , announced that he will embark on a global tour in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of his game-changing debut album,  Get Rich or Die Tryin’.  Produced by Live Nation and presented by Sire Spirits,  The Final Lap Tour  will make stops across North America and Europe including Toronto, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Houston, Amsterdam, Oslo, Paris, and many more. Additional markets to be announced soon. 

The Final Lap Tour will feature the rap icon performing dozens of fan-favorite and chart-topping hits along with select tracks that have not been performed live in decades. Plus, the tour will feature support from special guest and longtime friend,  Busta Rhymes , across all dates and  Jeremih supporting on all North American dates with more special guests to be announced. 

Kicking off with its  North American  leg, the first date will be on  Friday, July 21st at Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, UT  and the  European  leg will commence on  Thursday, September 28th at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Netherlands.  Additional dates to be announced in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of his seminal debut album Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ , 50 Cent is embarking upon The Final Lap world tour which (thankfully) includes Australia.

50 Cent is bringing his world tour to Australia and New Zealand at the end of the year.

The hip hop icon is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his seminal debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ , which was the best-selling album of 2003 in the US. Get Rich or Die Tryin’ was also nominated for Best Rap Album at the 2004 Grammy Awards, losing out to OutKast’s Speakerboxxx/The Love Below .

After hitting North America and Europe, The Final Lap Tour will head to Australia and New Zealand in December, taking in stops in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland (see full dates below).

MELBOURNE, Friday June 9, 2023 – Today, EMMY® and GRAMMY® award-winning multi hyphenate, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson , has added new dates to the Australian leg of his global tour in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of his game-changing debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ and announced Jeremih as special guest across all dates.

Produced by Live Nation, The Final Lap Tour will make stops across North America and Europe including Toronto, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Houston, Amsterdam, Oslo, Paris, and many more, before heading to Australia and New Zealand in December this year.

Due to overwhelming demand, second shows have been added for Melbourne at Rod Laver Arena on December 5, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on December 9 and Entertainment Centre, Brisbane on December 11.

The Final Lap Tour  will kick off in Perth on December 2 at RAC Arena, followed by Adelaide Entertainment Arena on December 4, Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on December 5 and 6, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on December 8 and 9, concluding at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on December 10 and 11.

General public tickets for these 3 new shows go on sale at 1 2pm today (local time).

The Final Lap Tour will feature the rap icon performing dozens of fan-favourite and chart-topping hits along with select tracks that have not been performed live in decades.

Kicking off with its North American leg, the first date of global The Final Lap Tour will be on Friday, July 21st at Maverik Centre in Salt Lake City, UT and the European leg will commence on Thursday, September 28th at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

50 Cent has announced Australian dates as part of his upcoming The Final Lap world tour, with the rapper set to play five arena dates at the end of the year. The tour celebrates two decades since 50 released his debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ .

The tour will begin at Perth’s RAC Arena on Saturday, 2nd December, before shows at Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena and Brisbane Entertainment Centre. Tickets are on sale Thursday, 8th June at 2pm. There’s also a Live Nation pre-sale beginning Tuesday, 6th June at 1pm.

50 Cent – ‘In Da Club’

50’s The Final Lap kicks off globally in July with a North American leg before European dates in September. Alongside hits and fan favourites, the tour is also set to see 50 perform tracks from his back catalogue that have not been performed live in decades. The rapper has also suggested the upcoming tour may well be his last.

“I won’t be running around like this no more,” he said during a video shared on Instagram last week. “I got to do my film and television stuff and got a lot of other things going on behind the scenes that I got to work on, so I won’t be out touring as much as I’ve been touring… I’m having fun this time because it’s set up to enjoy myself, we not feeling pressure.”

Get Rich or Die Tryin’ arrived in February 2003, a month after the release of its hit lead single, ‘In Da Club’. Singles like ‘P.I.M.P’ and the Nate Dogg-assisted ’21 Questions’ also enjoyed mainstream success. The album featured appearances from Eminem , Young Buck, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks, and it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. It was the best-selling album of 2003 in the US and went on to be certified 9x platinum.

50 has gone on to release four more albums since his debut, with the most recent being 2014’s Animal Ambition . Outside of music, 50 Cent executive produced and starred in the series, Power , and executive produced its three spin-offs.
