I had a great time in Kerala. I loved the scenery, the culture, and most of all, the people. Our driver, Mr. Sibu, was terrific. I'd love to come back to Kerala and have him as my driver again. We weren't too happy with the initial boat we were given for our Backwater tour, but the company quickly changed us to another boat, which was great. I had took the Quick Cochin Munnar Thekkady Alleppey Kovalam tour and it was a quick but memorable tour of Kerala's best attractions. The tour started in Cochin, where we visited some of the city's famous landmarks such as the Mattancherry Palace, the Jewish Synagogue, and the Chinese Fishing Nets. The guide was knowledgeable and provided interesting insights into the city's rich history and cultural diversity. Next, we traveled to Munnar, which is known for its stunning tea plantations and misty mountains. We visited the Tea Museum, the Echo Point, and the Top Station, among other sites. The guide was very knowledgeable about the region's tea industry and provided interesting insights into the cultivation and processing of tea. We then traveled to Thekkady, which is known for its wildlife sanctuary and spice plantations. We went on a jungle trek and a boat ride in the Periyar National Park, where we saw elephants, bison, and other wildlife. We also visited a spice plantation and learned about the region's spice trade.The tour then took us to Alleppey, where we embarked on a houseboat cruise through the tranquil backwaters of Kerala. The scenery was breathtaking and the experience was truly unforgettable.The tour ended in Kovalam, where we had some free time to relax on the beach and enjoy the local cuisine. The accommodations throughout the tour were comfortable and well-maintained, and the local staff were friendly and hospitable. Excellent Tour Company TMI/Manvendra were very responsive to our short notice request for an 8 night stay in Kerela. Unfortunately some important details were missed. One hotel was booked 50 minutes away from our destination, which was very difficult after already traveling 5 hours in the car with a baby. Our driver had excellent driving skills but poor English and customer service, which caused frustration. Be sure to specify rooms at hotels when confirming itineraries, otherwise its likely you'll get the lowest standard room option.

I hav been there at munnar along with my 13 frnz in search of peace,silence,calm n serenity n dis place is d best place to b. We went there on 25th evening at suryenili base camp from where they took us with a jeep to the camping sight which took around half n hour or so. Bt that road was really challenging and thats d beauty of a trek.it ws n adventurous ride fr us. After dat we reach der at camp sight where we have 7 tents waiting fr us. It ws a full moon n d way d mountains were shining n d clouds were moving accross d mountains with a very vold breezy wind touching d face ws jusss amazing. The tents were comfortable. Der was a bone fire also where we spent more den 2 hrs, singing , dancing, playing games,. N above dem al relaxing in such silence n serenity.

Nex morning it ws 5 o clock wen we hav 2 start our journey yo c d sunrise view from d top.. it ws my first trekking xperince so it ws a little hassled one..bt d sunrise view frm d mountain ws amazingly stunning. We hav been der fr 2 hr or so before coming down to camp sight. While coming back it ws a very panoramic view thru d tea estates. After having delicious brekfast whuch have 3 tyoes of fruits, grams,tea, bread slices, idli n all..it was really Delicious, After having brekfast v again started our journey to base camp..n in d mean while each n every sight r justs eye capturing. It ws really a nice experience.we r planning 2 visit again. Support staff r very nice.

Day 01: ARRIVAL COCHIN – Met upon arrival at the Cochin airport, met by a TPI representative at the exit gate of arrival hall. A representative will escort to your hotel. If time permit, you will visit the Kerala Kaleidoscope show in the evening.

Day 02: COCHIN SIGHTSEEING / MUNNAR – APPROX 4 HRS DRIVE – After breakfast, enjoy an interesting tour of Cochin including St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Nets, Jewish Synagogue, Fort Cochin Spice Market, Mattencherry Palace Museum. Later you will be driven to Munnar. Arrive and check in to the hotel.

Day 03: MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING – After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Munnar Tea gardens, Waterfalls etc.

Day 04: MUNNAR / THEKKADY – APPROX 4 HRS DRIVE – After breakfast, you will be driven to Thekkady. Arrive and check in to the hotel. Afternoon will be free to explore on your own / optional boat ride (sharing basis) on Lake Periyar.
