He was amazing as always. First time seeing Ashley, only knew a few songs. I left the concert a bigger fan for her. Did not get to see Drew perform due to the traffic. To & from the arena it was crazy insane..

This gig was simply OUTSTANDING.

Ashley McBryde and Luke Combs might just be the best show combo I've ever seen.

From beginning to end this was a truly memorable experience.

Luke Combs Will Play Back-to-Back Shows for Fall ‘Middle of Somewhere’ Tour

By Jon Freeman

Jon Freeman

Luke Combs has plotted out a busy touring schedule in 2022, making up for the lost time with various festival appearances at Stagecoach and New Orleans Jazzfest before he embarks on a summer stadium tour.

When that trek is over, the “Tomorrow Me” singer will regroup and head out on the Middle of Somewhere Tour in September, playing a series of back-to-back arena shows that’ll take him nearly to the end of the year.

The tour gets underway Sept. 2 in Bangor, Maine, and features Combs playing two consecutive nights in nearly every city he visits. Those stops include Green Bay’s Resch Center, Louisville’s KFC Yum! Center, and Uncasville, Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun Arena. The exceptions to Combs’ back-to-back lineup are when he heads to Canada for a series of dates — he’ll do one night only in Montreal and Quebec City, but double nights in Toronto and London, Ontario. The tour wraps on Dec. 9 and 10 with shows in Oklahoma City.

Tickets to most of the U.S. shows go on sale May 6 at 10 a.m. local time. Joining Combs on select dates of the trek will be an assortment of artists including Mitchell Tenpenny, Morgan Wade, Jordan Davis, Lainey Wilson, and Riley Green. A release notes that ticket prices will remain at the level they were pre-pandemic.

“I know that the price of everything has been going up these last couple of years and there’s nothing I can do about that, but the one thing I could do is set the price of my tickets,” Combs said in a statement.

Combs recently released the song “ Tomorrow Me ” from his new album Growin’ Up, which will be released June 24.

Combs added, "With country music being such a wide genre and being a huge fan of it all myself, I wanted to open up my stage to acts that lean into Outlaw, Americana and Red Dirt on Friday nights, as well as having a night with people I have toured with in the past, who are more contemporary country."

"A supernatural song writer": Luke Combs praises Tracy Chapman as 'Fast Car' tops charts

Luke Combs is burning up the charts with Tracy Chapman's 'Fast Car'

The performances add to yet another triumphant year for Combs, whose new version of Tracy Chapman’s Grammy-winning "Fast Car" has spent five consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. This is Combs’ 16th consecutive No. 1 single on country radio.

The song was recently certified double-platinum, has garnered over 435 million global streams and is No. 2 this week on Billboard’s Hot 100. "Fast Car" is the first song by a male solo artist to ever top both the Hot AC and Country Airplay charts.

Combs’ latest album, "Gettin' Old," is a companion to his acclaimed 2022 record, "Growin' Up." The New York Times praised the album as "grounded in country, complete with fiddle fills, but it’s also pointed toward a wide pop audience" while Billboard proclaimed, "His electrifying-yet-earthy voice soundtracking this time in his life as a husband, father and entertainer at the top of his game."

American Songwriter summed it up with, "He’s a rock star at this point."

Luke Combs Announces 2023 World Tour with Opening Acts Lainey Wilson, Riley Green and Cody Johnson

Also featuring Flatland Cavalry, Brent Cobb and Lane Pittman as special guests, Luke Combs' 2023 world tour will span 35 shows in 16 countries on three different continents

Luke Combs ' travel plans for 2023 are locked in.

On Thursday, the "Forever After All" singer-songwriter, 32, announced the dates and opening acts for his upcoming 2023 world tour, which will see him perform 35 shows in 16 countries on three different continents, via Instagram .

The tour kicks off on March 25 in Arlington, Texas, and Combs will perform shows in cities including Nashville, Detroit and Chicago before concluding the U.S. leg with a show in Philadelphia on July 29. He'll then play a string of concerts across Oceania through the end of August.

At the end of September, Combs will launch a European leg of concerts, followed by several UK dates before the tour wraps in late October.

Riley Green, Lainey Wilson , Flatland Cavalry and Brent Cobb will join Combs as supporting acts for the U.S. leg of the tour, while Cody Johnson and Lane Pittman will open shows in New Zealand and Australia.

"Buddy… @lukecombs , you best not get tired of me!" quipped Wilson, 30, in an Instagram post about the tour.

Fans can visit Combs' website and join his club for information on pre-sales for the upcoming tour, while tickets go on sale for the public on Sept. 16.

Combs is currently on the road, performing shows in North America before concluding his current tour dates in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on Dec. 9 and 10 — giving the musician just over three months of rest and relaxation before he sets out to travel the globe.

Last weekend, the country star made headlines for going the extra mile to help fans out when he gave a pair of young concertgoers cash to cover the cost of their tickets after discovering 12-year-old Bo Fenderson and Tanner Hale spent 10 hours stacking wood in order to make money to purchase the tickets for last Friday's show in Bangor, Maine.

While performing, Combs spotted a the boys holding a sign and read about their journey aloud from the stage, according to local NBC affiliate WCSH . At that point, he opened up his wallet and gave the pair $140 to help cover the ticket costs.

"How much were you tickets? $100? $200? Y'all paid $200, a hundred dollars apiece. Oh my God, I only got $140 right here," the singer said, according to CBS affiliate WABI . "Y'all want that, pay yourselves back. I'll get you some more."

Earlier this week, before starting his Saturday night concert at Maine Savings Amphitheater, Combs told concertgoers that he refunded everyone's tickets and would play for free due to vocal issues.

"I have to let you know that I have refunded all of your tickets. As of 7 p.m. today, a few hours ago, I realized that I was not going to be able to sing as good as I normally do," he said in a surprising announcement that was captured on video by numerous fans.

"[My voice is not] what I think it should be for you guys having to pay for it," he continued , adding: "So, we're going to put on the best free show we could put on, and I want you guys to know how upset I am to have to tell you that tonight, but all I want you to know is that we're going to do the very damn best."

Luke Combs Sets Stadium Tour Dates for 2022

Following his CMA Awards entertainer of the year win on Wednesday (Nov. 10), Luke Combs has announced stadium tour dates for 2022.

Following his entertainer of the year win at Wednesday’s (Nov. 10) CMA Awards, Luke Combs has announced several stadium shows for next year, including performances at Denver’s Empower Field at Mile High on May 21, Seattle’s Lumen Field on June 4 and Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on July 30.

Joining Combs for these shows will be Zach Bryan, Cody Johnson and Morgan Wade.

Combs currently has a top 5 hit on Billboard ‘s Country Airplay chart with “Cold As You,” which is the seventh single to be released from his What You See Ain’t Always What You Get project. During his CMA Awards performance on Wednesday, Combs debuted a new song, “Doin’ This.”

8 Can't-Miss Moments From the 2021 CMA Awards

Trending on billboard.

“This song means a lot to me personally,” Combs said via a press release. “Not to recite the lyrics, but for me, it’s truly about playing country music for a crowd, whether that’s 70 people or 70,000 people, and playing country music with my buddies in the band. It really doesn’t matter where we’re playing or how many people we’re playing for because it isn’t about the fame, the fortune, the name, or the glory. It’s about getting to make and play country music.”

Combs also noted the swirl of career happenings over the past few days, saying, “This week has been a whirlwind – got to debut a new song on the CMAs, release the song and music video to my fans, and announce three stadium shows at NFL stadiums. Talk about a week! It will be hard to top this one.”

Tickets for these newly confirmed stadium shows will be available for pre-sale beginning Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 4 p.m. local time via Ticketmaster Verified Fan. The general on sale will open Friday, Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. local time.

Combs also recently released the track “South On Ya,” which was added as the official theme song for the SEC Network’s 2021 football season.

If Luke Combs could do anything, he’d still be doin’ this. Over the last eight years, the singer-songwriter has risen to the top of country music’s A-list with a combination of well-honed songwriting chops and a can’t miss live show. The seven-time Grammy nominee, who recently coaxed Tracy Chapman onto the Grammys stage for a rare, heartwarming duet of her iconic single “Fast Car,” is set to hit the road this spring for his upcoming Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour in support of his 2022 Growin’ Up and 2023 Gettin’ Old albums.

Luke Combs Announces Middle of Somewhere Tour for Fall 2022

Luke Combs followed up the announcement of a new album with the announcement of a new tour, plotting the Middle of Somewhere tour for the fall of 2022. The tour will bring the singer to nine cities, with two shows planned in each city.

In a video posted to social media announcing the tour, the singer said he is keeping ticket prices the same as the were pre-pandemic, in hopes that a lower price point will help more fans attend the shows.

“I know that the price of everything has been going up these last couple years and there’s nothing I could do about that,” he says. “But the one thing I could do is set the price of my tickets. What I wanted to do was keep the ticket prices the same as they were before the pandemic. So these tickets will be priced just as they were the last time you bought tickets so I really, really hope you guys will come out and check us out. I can’t wait to see you on the road.”

Tickets for Luke Combs Middle of Somewhere tour dates are on sale next week, available to the general public on Friday, May 6 (with one on sale a week later, May 13). The tour adds to an already busy year for Combs, who plays at Stagecoach Festival this weekend, with appearances at New Orleans Jazz Fest, BottleRock , CMA Fest , and other festivals coming up, as well as stadium dates on his own in the summer. Dates for this new tour begin with back-to-back shows at Maine Savings Amphitheater on September 2 and 3, and run through a December 9 and 10 pair of shows at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. Other cities along the way include Louisville, Charleston, Albany, and Lake Tahoe, plus a number of shows in Canada that had been previously scheduled.

Luke Combs Tour: Dates, Venues, and More

They say that if at first you don’t succeed, try again. That is the attitude country singer Luke Combs is adopting when it comes to his What You See Is What You Get Tour. The original Luke Combs tour initially kicked off in 2020 but had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But Combs isn’t allowing the pandemic to cancel the tour, just delay things a little. He’s rescheduled all of the dates from the initial tour and will visit all of the same places. Let’s take a closer look at the second incarnation of the What You See Is What You Get Tour, so you know when it’ll be coming to a city near you and what to expect when you buy Luke Comb tickets for his latest tour.

The First Try

katherine-hanlon-pOraJAwCFRo-unsplash...

Unlike some musicians in his position, Combs was actually able to get the first leg of his 2020 tour up and running before the pandemic hit. The tour began in early 2020, fresh off the release of his What You See Is What You Get album the previous year. He even brought Ashley McBryde and Drew Parker along as opening acts for the first leg of the tour. Alas, when the pandemic hit, Combs had to reschedule all of the remaining shows on the tour, shifting them to 2021. But to his credit, it was always his intention to return to every venue that had to cancel a show and make up the date.

Album of the Same Name

Combs set off on his 2020 tour in support of his second album: What You See Is What You Get . Released in November 2019, it’s one of the best sophomore albums from a country artist in recent memory. Starting with “Beer Never Broke My Heart,” the album produced seven singles, six of which eventually reached the no. 1 spot on the Billboard Country Airplay charts. When the album’s sixth single, “Forever After All,” reached no. 1, Combs tied a record for having six singles from one album make it to the top of the country charts. It also gave Combs 11 straight no.1 hits, which is why so many country fans were devastated when his tour had to be postponed due to the pandemic.

While Combs has played a few festivals earlier this summer, his tour gets started on August 5 with a pair of shows in Canandaigua, New York. The fun continues the following week with the Rock the South festival in Cullman, Alabama. Combs does one more festival before the month of August is over, as he’ll perform at the Winstock Country Music Festival in Winsted, Minnesota, on August 21.

In early September, Combs will finally set out on his own, and he’ll do so in his home state of North Carolina. The tour’s official start is September 4 at Kidd Brewer Stadium in Boone, North Carolina, less than 90 miles from where Combs grew up in Ashville. The next two dates of the tour will also come in the Tar Heel State, as Combs will play PNC Arena in Raleigh on September 10 and 11 before heading elsewhere.

The Road Continues

After leaving North Carolina, Combs heads out West. By that we mean, way West. His first show outside of North Carolina will come in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The tour continues through South Dakota, Montana, and Oregon before reaching California in early October. From there, Combs heads to the Southwest with two shows in New Mexico and one in Arizona before finishing that leg with a show in Colorado and two in Texas. From there, Combs will have a quick stopover in Florida with three shows in the Sunshine State before moving on to other things.

The Home Stretch

By early November, the What You See Is What You Get tour will hit the home stretch. Combs will make stopovers in Chicago and St. Louis before heading to New Orleans and then doing two shows in Dallas and one in Memphis. He’ll then take a brief break before heading to the Northeast. He’ll be playing back-to-back nights at Madison Square Garden on November 29 and November 30. That will be followed by back-to-back nights at Boston’s TD Garden on December 2 and 3 to close out the bulk of the tour.

On the List

If you’re lucky enough to see Luke Combs in concert during his What You See Is What You Get Tour, what can you expect? Well, last-minute changes are always possible, but if it’s anything like the setlist from his tour in early 2020, fans won’t walk away disappointed. The show is 20 songs, beginning with “When It Rains It Pours” and ending with “Beer Never Broke My Heart.” In between, there is no shortage of hits like “Beautiful Crazy,” “Does to Me,” and “Even Though I’m Leaving.”

The best part is that the show isn’t over after those 20 songs. Combs comes out for an encore that includes his hit “Better Together” and a cover of the Brooks & Dunn song “Brand New Man.” He concludes the show (this time for real) with “Hurricane,” which most fans will agree is the perfect way to end an amazing evening.

See Luke Combs’ Setlist From Opening Night of His World Tour

Luke Combs had the crowd at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, in the palm of his hand on Saturday (March 25). It was opening night of his World Tour, and the "Going, Going, Gone" singer did what he does best: Kept it simple and let the music speak for itself.

Buy Luke Combs Tickets Here

After several openers —  Riley Green , Lainey Wilson , Flatland Cavalry and Brent Cobb  — Combs captivated the audience song after song. He opened the show with roaring rendition of "Lovin' on You" that got the sold-out stadium crowd on their feet, singing along. He kept the energy up with "Hannah Ford Road" and "Cold as You" before gently coaxing the audience into his more sentimental songs.

Combs gave his band their time in the spotlight, too, as he introduced them to the crowd. He stepped back and allowed them to take center stage as they covered a few recognizable choruses: "Dust on the Bottle" (David Lee Murphy), "Meet in the Middle" (Diamond Rio) and "When I Was Your Man" (Bruno Mars).

The North Carolina native also took a moment to himself. He told the audience he likes to perform one song solo at each show, and after grabbing his guitar, Combs delivered his non-drinking drinking song "Joe."

He gave some backstory prior to performing "Houston, We Got a Problem." He revealed that his first tour stop after signing a record deal was in Texas. He had just met now-wife Nicole, whom he described as "the woman who would eventually change my life." Both the state and his newfound love inspired him to write the song as soon as he returned to Nashville.

After hitting everyone in the feels with the songs inspired by his bride, Combs began revving up the engine again. He finished out his set with "Beer Never Broke My Heart," but as everyone knows, there's always an encore — and he still hadn't played one of his biggest songs.

The audience shouted in delight when the opening guitar riff of "The Kind of Love We Make" rang out from the stage. Combs returned to give the fans what they wanted, diving headfirst into his rendition of "Brand New Man." He brought Wilson, Green and Cobb out to join him before closing out the show.

Just one day before the tour launched, the "Doin' This" singer released a new album titled Gettin' Old . Despite its newness, the crowd had clearly done their homework: With each song, you could hear thousands of people singing back every lyric, word for word.

Combs' World Tour will pick up again on Saturday, April 1, in Indianapolis, Ind. The trek will continue through Oct. 19, with Combs and his crew jetting off to New Zealand, Australia and Europe during the second half.

Shortly after announcing his upcoming tour dates, Luke Combs made an observation about what he didn’t see in the responses from fans. He said in a tweet: “I’m surprised no one is wondering where the name of the tour came from…” That tweet stirred curiosity, and on Monday (May 2), Combs assured fans that he’ll “show y’all tonight…” On Monday evening, he shared a nearly one-minute clip of his unreleased song, “Middle of Somewhere,” revealing the inspiration behind the name of his upcoming tour.

“Excited to announce the Middle of Somewhere Tour because I’m looking forward to finishing out 2022 with y’all,” Combs previously announced on Friday, April 29. “Tickets on sale 5/6 at lukecombs.com, but text TOUR to (615) 235-1770 to have pre-sale sign up details sent your way!”

Combs also announced he’s bringing along  Jordan Davis , along with  Morgan Wade  and  Lainey Wilson  on select dates.  Mitchell Tenpenny  will also serve as a special guest  on select tour dates . Tickets will go on sale on Friday (May 6), and tickets to Louisville shows will go on sale the following week on May 13. Listen to a clip of the song that inspired the name of Combs’ upcoming tour here :

Luke Combs at American Family Field: Everything to know for Milwaukee stadium tour kickoff

  • Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below

Last year, American Family Field hosted the first two shows for one of the biggest tours of the year, with Morgan Wallen .

Now it's doing it again.

This time out, it will be another one of country music's biggest stars, Luke Combs, who will kick off his 25-date blockbuster "Growin' Up and Gettin' Old" 2024 stadium tour at the Milwaukee Brewers' ballpark, for the first two shows April 12 and 13.

Here's everything you need to know for two of the biggest concerts of the year in Milwaukee — including the status of the Brewers' new parking system.

More: These are all of the arena, amphitheater and stadium concerts in Milwaukee in 2024

When do the gates open for Luke Combs' American Family Field concerts, and when do they start?

The first opener for Combs' concerts April 12 and 13 will start at 5:45 p.m., with gates opening at 5 p.m. each day. The parking lots will open at 3 p.m. April 12, and 2:30 p.m. April 13, and tailgating will be permitted. Just give yourself plenty of time to drive in, particularly on April 12, when there'll be Friday afternoon commuter traffic as well. Getting through security into the stadium will take some time, too, so plan accordingly.

How much is parking? Is the Brewers' new parking system in operation?

General parking is $25 in advance, or $40 for preferred parking, available at brewers.com/lukecombs . Day-of parking is $35 for general lots, or $50 for preferred lots, but the Brewers won't guarantee that parking will be available.

As for the new QR code-based payment system for parking , it's been temporarily suspended following connectivity issues on the Brewers' opening day . For the April 12-13 concerts, the Brewers will operate with the traditional on-site cashier system.

Here's how to get to the concerts if you don't want to drive

Two Milwaukee County Transit System  routes drop people off within walking distance of the ballpark: the CONNECT1 on Wisconsin Avenue and Route 18 on National Avenue. Find the schedule, fare information and more at ridemcts.com .

The taxi pickup and drop off is outside Helfaer Field, while drop-off and pick-up for Uber and Lyft is in the Gantner parking lot. (Expect huge crowds for rideshares after the show.)

Also: Some of the bars and restaurants that send shuttles to Brewers games might be giving rides as well. See the "American Family Field" section of brewers.com .

Are there any tickets available for Luke Combs' concerts at American Family Field? How much are they?

Remaining first-hand tickets for the April 12 show are $109.50 to $229.50, and $80.50 to $229.50 for April 13, available at brewers.com/lukecombs .

How can I access the pit and seats on the field?

Pit ticket holders must enter the third base gate only to get into the stadium to receive their wristband to get them access. Wristbands are also required for all seating on the field, sections A to P. They'll be available at the Associated Bank gate and wristband tables at the Left Field Guest Services Desk, the UScellular Power Playground in right field and at tables near Section 118.

Combs will have different openers each night — and a special tailgate pre-show April 13

Unlike Wallen — when he became the first artist to play two consecutive nights in a Wisconsin stadium — Combs will treat fans to different openers each night.

April 12 leans more into Combs' alt-country and traditional country tendencies with folk group the Wilder Blue up first, followed by singer-songwriter Charles Wesley Godwin and then outlaw country artist Cody Jinks. The opener slate for April 13 leans a little more country pop, with (in order of appearance) Colby Acuff, Drew Parker, Mitchell Tenpenny and Jordan Davis.

There also will be a "Bootleggers Tailgate Party" at 3 p.m. April 13 with two up-and-comers picked by Combs and Nashville-based up-and-comer concert series Whiskey Jam: Ryan Larkins and Graham Barham. It'll take place at the Third Base Plaza at American Family Field, and will be free to attend for Combs concert ticketholders, with food and drinks available to purchase on site.

What is Luke Combs expected to play?

Since these are the first two shows of Combs' tour, we can't wager what the setlist will be. But considering the tour is named after his most recent albums, "Growin' Up" and "Gettin' Old," expect several songs from those. And Combs' biggest hits are also likely, including "Forever After All," "The Kind of Love We Make," and, of course, his breakout cover of the Tracy Chapman classic "Fast Car."

Where can I get more information?

Ticketholders will get more need-to-know information via email a few days before the shows, but more logistical information about American Family Field can be found at brewers.com/ballpark .

Each event will have food and drink options, pre-show merch stands, and live performances, with the first three weekends featuring Ryan Larkins and Graham Barham (April 13 in Milwaukee, WI), Shaylen and Greylan James (April 20 in Orchard Park, NY), and Redferrin and Alex Lambert (April 27 in University Park, PA). Remaining lineups are to be announced soon.

Additional dates on Combs’ extensive 2024 run include sold-out, back-to-back nights at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium, Santa Clara’s Levi’s® Stadium, Phoenix’s State Farm Stadium, Salt Lake City’s Rice-Eccles Stadium, and Cincinnati’s Paycor Stadium among others.

Combs continues to break records with the tour, becoming the highest-selling country artist and the first ever to play back-to-back shows at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, the highest-selling male country artist at Santa Clara’s Levi’s® Stadium and Phoenix’s State Farm Stadium, and the fastest-selling two-day run in the region of Cincinnati’s Paycor Stadium. See below for the complete tour itinerary and details.

The upcoming shows add to yet another triumphant year for Combs, who recently performed an unforgettable duet of “Fast Car” with Tracy Chapman during the 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards, which Rolling Stone called “one of the all-time best collaborative performances in Grammy history.”

The performance was the culmination of a massive year for “Fast Car,” as Combs’ version of the song won Single of the Year at the 2023 CMA Awards (with Chapman winning Song of the Year). It also spent five consecutive weeks atop Billboard’s Country Airplay chart and reached #1 on the Hot AC chart, the first song by a male solo artist to ever top both. The 2x Platinum single, which has garnered over 700 million global streams to date, also spent eighteen weeks in the top 5 of Billboard’s all-genre Hot 100 chart, eight of which were spent at #2.

“Fast Car” is featured on Combs’ most recent album, Gettin’ Old—a companion to his acclaimed 2022 record, Growin’ Up. Produced by Combs, Chip Matthews, and Jonathan Singleton, Gettin’ Old further establishes Combs as one of music’s most authentic and powerful voices. Receiving widespread critical attention, Combs spoke with Esquire, who calls him, “the best country singer of his generation,” while Billboard declares, “his electrifying-yet-earthy voice soundtracking this time in his life as a husband, father, and entertainer at the top of his game.”

A Grand Ole Opry member and 9x CMA, 3x ACM, and 3x Billboard Music Award-winner, Combs has also partnered with Opry Entertainment Group to open a massive multi-level entertainment complex in downtown Nashville, expected to open this summer.

Luke Combs leads the 2024 ACM Awards nominations, followed by Morgan Wallen and Megan Moroney

Luke Combs leads the nominees for the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards with eight nods to his name, it was announced Tuesday

Luke Combs leads the nominees for the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards with eight nods to his name, it was announced Tuesday.

For a fifth year in a row, he's up for both male artist of the year and the top prize, entertainer of the year.

The 59th annual ACM Awards will take place on May 16 at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, just north of Dallas.

Combs' eight nominations includes a first-time nomination for Tracy Chapman. His cover of her “Fast Car” is up for song of the year, a category that recognizes songwriters and publishers in addition to artists. Last year, Chapman's 1988 song won song of the year at the Country Music Awards for Combs' cover, making her the first Black songwriter to win in the category.

At the 2024 ACM Awards, Megan Moroney and Morgan Wallen closely follow Combs' nominations with six each, while Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson are tied with five.

Jordan Davis and Jelly Roll have four nominations.

This is Jelly Roll's first-time receiving ACM nominations; he's up for entertainer of the year, male artist of the year, single of the year (for “Need a Favor,” which won big at the CMT Music Awards last week ), and music event of the year, for “Save Me” featuring Wilson.

The last time a musician was up for entertainer of the year in his first round of ACM awards nominations was Billy Ray Cyrus in 1992.

Women were left out of the top category save for Wilson. Few women have been awarded the title: Miranda Lambert received it in 2022. In 2020, Carrie Underwood and Thomas Rhett tied for the title, the first time ever for a tie and the first time a woman had won the category since Taylor Swift in 2012.

Also nominated for entertainer of the year are Wallen, Kane Brown, Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton.

In 2021, Wallen was declared ineligible by the ACMs after he was caught on camera using a racial slur. In 2022 and 2023, he received four nominations. On Monday, he was arrested after police say he threw a chair off the rooftop of a newly opened six-story bar in downtown Nashville.

No women are nominated in the artist-songwriter of the year and single of the categories. Kelsea Ballerini's “Rolling Up the Welcome Mat (For Good)” is the only album performed by a woman in the album of the year category.

It also includes Combs' “Gettin' Old,” Stapleton's “Higher,” Johnson's “Leather,” and Wallen's “One Thing at a Time.”

The 2024 ACM Awards will stream on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch Live Thursday, May 16 at 8 p.m. EDT. A red carpet feed will become available on Prime Video, the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch and Amazon Live at 7 p.m. EDT.
